Im always asking myself if the money bubble is going to crash because of the AI revolution. AI is probably replacing 60-80% (or even more) of the work on earth so inflation will explode and money loses its worth , people have no purchasing power. Producing cost will hit an all time low due to AI.

Great insight and I agree with everything except it is very hard to "copy" Elon. Actually he IS one of kind and he IS different from most of the people and what makes him such is his Aspergers. Not saying that this is THE cause for all his success and stubbornness (beside tough childhood with his eccentric father which definitely shaped him) but it is actually shaping his character in a great way. I actually believe without it his superior qualities like stubbornness, extreme care for humanity etc. would not be expressed in such a way. I am not saying that people with such qualities do not exist at all, but are very hard to find, and in fact at the moment I don't know anyone who even remotely resembles him.

Frankly, delusional. There's a reason Elon is talking about anything and everything besides EV sales; will let you figure out why. Q3 2024 will be the third consecutive quarter of Tesla sales declines - the first time in Tesla's history - against positive EV sales growth in the rest of the market. Wouldn't be surprised if Tesla goes bust over the next few years. Elon is killing the Tesla brand - a dead lead weight around Tesla's throat

You’re right in that we and our children have the opportunity to soak up these lessons (of innovation and risk) and the application of first principles that we see demonstrated in Musk’s companies. Education for current and future generations needs to be disrupted and reinvented too. Meanwhile, as you said it is not enough to just admire Musk. There are things to emulate too in all our roles. I’m sure you have some insights or pointers into that also.

Great discussion. Inspiration is greater than dividend. Of course I baulked at the one god thing. Pretty sure it was never thus, (algebra from Islam for example), and trying to get to that leads to mass murder. People who see the wonder in the world without becoming religiously tribal are the most inspirational. You didn’t touch on the CO2 problem as represented by the Keeling Curve. Tesla mission is to address it. It’s basically master plan 3. Anything to educate the masses on that one helps.

Yes, I agree with all said, however the biggest obstacle is gov getting in the way of progress. It's hard to imagine people throwing roadblocks in front of Elon & his companies.

Thank you for this inspiring presentation. What I take from it is introspection: What can I do to contribute to this transformative mission for humanity? Can I see beyond my perceived limitations? Elon improves cornerstones of civilization by bringing innovations to reality. I'm sure I'm not the only one that gets excited by this and wants to join in, even if in some small way. My concern is that FSD will continue chasing edge cases forever. The bad thing about neural networks is that they are really bad at general intelligence -- by that I mean they are bad in situations in which they were not explicitly trained. The only way to make FSD perfect would be to train the neural network in every possible situation, but this would require an infinite amount of training. I don't think that's realistic, so I am concerned that FSD will never be perfect.

Master plan makes me think of China, Russian and Nazi type thinking. Elon needs to stay in his lane of technology business and stay out of politics and social engineering. He is smart but doesn’t know everything. He is still human with human motives and emotions.

I like Elon Musk, I think he means well and tries his best to bring his dreams to reality. But equally, what he won't tell you, is that all great innovators are puppets and he's walking a tightrope trying to push his vision into the world while also dealing with far more powerful forces that have their own vision. And the dominant vision is not one that unleashes human potential, but rather keeps humanity leashed. Elon already knows this, because despite popular knowledge, there are no starlink satellites in orbit, and humans are already on Mars. I find it hard to believe that Elon Musk, from his vantage point doesn't know this, and it doesn't take much deep thinking to understand the implications. The biggest lie Elon Musk repeats, is that he has no evidence of extraterrestrial life, as he puts it, "if anyone would know, it's him". I am someone that happens to know very well, that extraterrestrials play a major role in the direction of human society, which means, Elon Musk is just another puppet. He seems to have a long leash though, so maybe humanity is getting a slightly longer leash - but it's still a leash.

Tesla should find jobs simple enough for these bots to go to work immediately. Then Tesla can add abilities in an App Store. I think picking fruit is a simple job they could do now, but difficult enough that Tesla would be bc able to show the world their broad usefulness.

I don’t see how Tesla is going to grow to crazy valuation but I don’t see a single new plant build or even discusses since higa Berlín and that took over 2 years to build. Unless giga Mexico gets build and they start building a new plant for car in Texas or the robots. I highly doubt we get back to the all time high.

Whichever way you look at it, another term for Trump does not bode well for Tesla or the broader EV and renewable energy industries. Trump is an unapologetic climate sceptic - pulled US out of Paris Agreement and rolled back environmental regulations during his previous term. Having been a vocal critic of Trump in the past, Musk seems to have made a baffling about face that business-wise makes no sense.
