Welcome to learning offroad motorbike riding. Any crash you walk away from is a good one. Riding my Honda CRF300 Rally in Victoria Australia. Adventure riding. Motorcycle crash, falling off motorcycle. Girl falls off motorbike.
Nice Honda..👍🏻💖👍🏻💖👍🏻
“I’m going to start by pulling Harry’s bar off, focusing on the nuts.”
“Harry Hacker” a name given to someone (a rider) who charges forward with reckless abandon 🤪
Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious.
Looked like hard work getting the 901 out. At first I thought this was another channel also called SqueakyBoots. His is all one word.
Anyone that rides these bikes has Squeaky Boots 🤣
You will need a torch to heat up the red loctite to be able to crack loose the handle bar screws. Blue loctite was all that's needed 😊
The reason I used red and not blue loctite, is because these are never coming off. If for some reason I did have to change something, I would be changing the whole triple clamp. But as discussed in the video, use blue if you think you will need to take them off, as applying heat is a pain in the rear.
Looks good!
Tell the sheep to stop looking at you 😂 Great video!!!!!!
Lets just say I wasn't expecting a sheep! lol
Awesome scenery, nothing like boosting the experience level with some challenging rides!
Thanks @ADVBrett.
Good stuff 👍
Enjoyed the video! Subscribed :-)
Thanks!
Great video!
I only ever used red loctite once and I had to remove the part for an adjustment about an hour later. Yeah, tossed that part, could never get them apart. Hard pressed to go past blue, now.
So when you were pulling Harry's bar off were his nuts too tight😂😂
Great vid , after 30+ years of road riding I got one of these bikes to to start the journey 🙏🏼.
Thanks @JasonCoreyRice. The Rally is a great little bike.
Experts need to put their feet down . Watch any enduro competition video .
nice video
Nice set up! Though, I don’t understand why so many off road riders choose to bolt their hand guards to their handle bars at both ends. I have learned that some people are not familiar with triple tree mounts, but some just choose to mount them to the handlebars anyway, which results in them twisting on a good enough impact. So, I just recommend them to everyone, just in case they are unfamiliar with them. But I highly recommend them. I have a Rally, and the only company that I know of that offers triple tree clamps for this bike is Zeta. Ride safe!
I did have a think about that, however decided to stick to bar mounted ones. As you said, in a large impact the bar only ones may twist and bend, I feel that this, while inconvenient is better than the alternative of potentially shearing the bolts on the upper triple clamp. Like everything on motorbikes, everything is a compromise. Do what works for you. Thanks for the comment :)
@@SqueakyBootsAU I hope you never take a hit that impactful! Generally you will just snap the aluminum mount. I’ve seen my buddy do it to an old XR.
Enjoy the journey and have fun...Maybe I've been lucky but I still have the stock bars 👍
Great work Kat!!! Awww.. saggy, bouncy, vertically challenged….. ahhh they’re just characteristics lol.
Enjoy your ride mate.
Will do!
Be bloody careful on those right handers to stick to the left
Saggy and bouncy 🤣🤣🤣
great vid cant wait to see the progression on the channel, awsome job keep it
Thanks @poochucker7378.
Well done
Is that Gail in front of you at the start? Sorry about the mic drop.
Sure is.
At least nothing on the body broke 😁
Does bring up an interesting topic… how many times can you hit your helmet on the ground before it goes in the bin? Most people seem to swap them out based on looks or the lining getting a bit ratty… I’m sure fortnine has probably done a video on it.
Not a good feeling but it has happened to every rider at one point of time .
Thanks @robfur. As long as we have fun doing it.
Nice work! Just crash on the other side to fix up your handlebars... that's what I do 👍
Going out tomorrow, so Ill see what happens, might be able to straighten them up. Looking at getting new bars for the Rally, any recommendations? Or any other tips that you be able to give me?
@@SqueakyBootsAU I like the Reed/Henry bend on mine, but it's personal preference really. Happy to meet up for a ride sometime and promote your channel.
@@ShonkyProductions thanks for the info. Will need to get bars soon. Would love to meet up for a ride and get your guidance. Let me know if your heading down to Gippsland area in Victoria (Sale). Working on a couple of more video at present.
@@SqueakyBootsAU Yeah, I'd like that. I'm planning on heading down to Victoria some time later this year.
@@ShonkyProductions Sounds like a plan. Hopefully I will have a little bit more experience by then and can keep up with you. Well try to anyway.
No Katherine's were harmed during the making of this Video. Harry (CRF300 Rally) only received some minor scratches and the handlebars which are original got a little bent. Looking for a stronger replacement set now.
Thats why you wear all the gear, all the time.
Sucks… Lesson Learned
Landing with style is ok
She jumped up quick, nothing to see here.
😮😮
First! Nice to see your video on youtube. :)
