Jermey Miner is not good at sales
Jermey Miner's tactics will soon be outdated and sales reps will need to adapt.
This is not an example of greatness in sales, but an example of naive praise.
Sales is changing, don't get left behind.

    Wouldn't the questions he asks be dependent on if it is an outbound or inbound lead? As well as if it is their 1st and 2nd conversation? Feels as though you are being critical for the sake of being critical. Only 7:30 in atm

    • @thejjhernandes
      @thejjhernandes 5 дней назад

      @@PandaWarriorTT Yes 100% true. This seems like what would be a second call in a 2CC. But in that case why do a discovery? Just pitch and close. Regardless of the circumstances, Jermey’s sales skills are probably better than what he show cased here or at least they should be. This isn’t a video someone can watch an implement into their sales calls. It’s not transferable. It was scripted, partially unauthentic, just a poor demonstration of what a quality sales call should look like.

    I’m curious what your thoughts are on dealing with shiny object syndrome when deciding who to learn from in this space. I resonate a ton with many different sales trainers and their processes/frameworks in the space, but trying to mix & match things I’ve learned from each is a struggle because sometimes they contradict eachother because their processes differ a bit. Any advice?

    • @thejjhernandes
      @thejjhernandes 6 дней назад

      @@CailonMoshiri Such a great question. I’ve always believed sales is very opinion based and experience based. Meaning, some sales reps learn from Grant Cardone and only know to stick to a script and sell very “old school” Some learn from Andy Elliot and sell super aggressively. Some learn from Jeremy and focus entirely on tonality. Regardless, of who you learn from I think the objective shouldn’t be to find and learn from one person, but see what tactics you can take from each. EX: taking Jermey’s tonality tactics, combine it with grant cardone’s comfort in the close, and Andy Elliot’s ambition & you’ve got yourself a good mix. I think the biggest focus is to educate yourself fundamentally on what’s right and wrong and sales, so you can distinguish good and bad coaching. Most people are too naive to know what good and bad sales coaching looks like, which is why 99% of sales reps suck. Once you garner the fundamentals, it’s easier to take lessons from each coach. I have a few books that are great for the fundamental understanding of sales, but I also made a video on the fundamentals some where on here. I would recommend check that out. Plus these books. 1: Pitch anything: Oren klaff 2: Never split the difference: Chris Voss 3: Psychology of sales: Brian Tracy 4: How to win friends and influence people: Dale Carnegie Eventually your goal should be sell like yourself & now like any other coach. Tactics are great, but with the direction sales is going, authenticity and genuine conversations will win. You need to lean in to your intangibles and sell like yourself, not like Jeremy, not like Hormozi, not like me, it should feel effortless, like a date. No script, no framework, simply a conversation with an intended outcome that both of you are aware of, but will decide on what direction to go based on the quality of the conversation. Hope that helps.

    The question is how long will this stay up before Jeremy’s lawyers knock knock? It’s pretty obvious that you name jack to get views with a defamatory title so you can sell your 297 course. Let’s call a spade a spade and be “authentic” like you say JM isn’t.

  • @robinsharfalon
    @robinsharfalon 7 дней назад

    You underestimate tonality. The guy felt comfortable with him and opened up before that stage call. He told him he would be calling him then so there was a frame already set. You talk a lot instead of listen. Maybe you could learn something. Did you ever pull in 2.4 mil in a year? If not, maybe you should come a little bit humbler. You don’t know what you don’t know. You clearly haven’t taken any of his training to know why he asked the questions he does and when he does.

    • @thejjhernandes
      @thejjhernandes 7 дней назад

      @@robinsharfalon Tonality alone will not get you a sale, not denying, it is important. I am a firm believer in how you ask your questions, is just as important as the question you’re asking. I’ve been through Jermey’s program, his teachings were great when it first hit the market, he was a pioneer, but it quickly has become saturated and nearly unauthentic. We literally have some of his sales reps inside of our program, not degrading the guy, he’s done a lot for the industry, but this simply is not a quality call.

    So Iv worked on Jeremy’s team and heard much better calls than this one. I wish he would post one of them but Jeremy is a master at tonality and just being extremely relaxed which helps him tremendously. Jeremy is extremely good at sales. Much better than some other guys you have posted about such as Andy, or Grant. Yes, Jeremy has a process with his questions and that process works for lots of people when it’s done properly. I agree with you, this call seemed very scripted.

    Bro it's so obvious. He wants Luke to be his best friend and be assured that he's his friend because that will last longer than just making an extra 4k and it's obvious Luke is here for the money but then more he wants is a long lasting best friend after the money is made and the deal is done so he isn't treated like a commodity. Speaking from experience and the reason I don't spend. Business is a marriage. Not a one night stand which makes you feel yuck in the end even if you have a million dollars the taste in your mouth has to be sweet and that only happens if the person who helped you make it loved you and wanted to be YOUR friend before he helped you monetarily. The money is never the issue.
