As a member of this orchestra (violin), I've noticed that I get so focused on playing the right notes in he right place that I don't hear the piece as a whole. I realized this after finally getting around to sitting down with these conversations; this one in particular is worth several listens - it's impressive. My thanks to Dani & Eric for organizing & presenting this conversation, as well as the other "Listening In" conversations this season.

This interview captures Dani exactly as she is -- engaging, articulate, insightful, knowledgable and enthusiastic about what she's doing. NEP's concert on Feb. 23 at 3pm at Jordan Hall is a 'must hear' event, followed by Buster Keaton's hilarious movie with the NEP Chamber Septet playing a score written for them to accompany it -- at the Boston Athenaeum on April16th at 6 pm.
