What was the cost of the whole kit? Sorry if this has been asked (I'm new). Update, just went to the website, full kit, ready to fly $45K or so!

Better be immaculate paint the amount of money you paid for that thing what I don’t understand is it doesn’t cost that amount of money to build why do they mark it up so much. Aircraft in general.. they make it unreachable..!

Hey Ty. You and your grandad did an excellent job putting the gyro together. How were you not freezing your knackers off?? Lol. I'm sure they make a nose cone and windshield for that gyro, mind you though, it's probably a bit pricey, but I'd say, worth it. Anyway, have a merry christmas, and a happy new year.

I'm an N/A beer drinker, too, so your grandad is a man after my own heart! Sounds like the Rotax is running smooth and it's fairly quiet with that muffler.

Looks like the pre-assembled harness saved a lot of time. I appreciate the excellent wiring labels that Denis applied.

Whew, that prerotator drive is an intricate subassembly. Glad you got it put together and mounted OK.

Interesting to see how the rudder cable direction is reversed with the pulleys below the pedals. I'm used to a simple glider where the rudder cables attach at the upper outer corner of each pedal, and simply get pulled directly when you push the pedal. Cool to see inside the Rotax gearbox, too.

Fun to see both of you testing the nosewheel steering. 😄

Perfect application of a racing seat! It's sturdy and lightweight (and as you say, comfortable).

Nice to see the engine installed on that robust mounting plate! Appreciate seeing some of the other details that you are showing closeup, like the cyclic control beam.
