I hadnt rlly played since 1.16, i come back recently, and everything he had described about old minecraft i felt in the newer version. its because I had a lot of game to uncover and didnt just wiki everything and know everything off the top of my head

I am 20 and was around back in them “good old days” fast forward 12 years later and I play a old version of Minecraft (Before trading was a thing) and it was fun for a bit until it got so boring compared to never versions. Now there is so much stuff to do on Minecraft, especially with Caves and Cliffs and the newer Nether update.

i think youtubers need to realize when you play something a thousand times with the same set end goal in mind you're gonna get bored. like of course you're bored, you made farms for everything you could possibly need, you spend your time only trying to beat the dragon, and you've made a career off of playing one single game. if they have an issue with running out of stuff to do, there's mods. i've been playing this game since i was 14 and i feel like the only people who make it feel corporate or whine about nostalgia are the pioneers of the corporate feeling who turned the game into "hardcore only and only goal is beat the dragon". like i dont know, paying people to make you builds for videos is corporate feeling but whatever floats your boat. also insane how he bitches about new mcyters in the thumbnail when he makes clickbait and whines about things he helped create the standard for. im over here still enjoying the updates and thrilled to get new things to explore and also installing mods or modpacks when im bored.

i've been playing minecraft since november 2012, this "old minecraft is better" thing is BS. of course you're gonna have a more fun experience playing older versions of minecraft for the first time in years, because you don't do it often. you're bored of new minecraft because you've played it hundreds of times and already know what to expect. imagine being a kid in the modern day and having never played minecraft and knowing nothing about it, and playing it for the first time in its current state. how would that not feel the same way as it did 10 years ago? yeah the game is different now but it's certainly not objectively worse than old minecraft

Seems like he’s one of those RUclipsrs that spews takes everyone shares with eachother bc he knows everyone will agree with a simple statement like “old Minecraft is good” he doesn’t even need to make good points bc that opinion is shared so much ppl r gonna agree anyways, tons of commentary or gaming RUclipsrs will do this bc if majority disagrees with them they “lost”

I can barely watch the clips because of how many stupid sound effects he used, and most of these "modern minecraft bad" videos boil down to "waa! why are they adding more things to help build? when you kill the ender dragon you're supposed to stop playing!"

ngl i can see where he's coming from because old minecraft versions were great in a unique way that is kinda different than now, but he's bringing up all the wrong points (modern versions are great too, games need to update man)

I don't want to sound like a gatekeeper, because I love when people enjoy Minecraft. But I think a lot of these kinds of folks saying that Minecraft is bad now don't really understand Minecraft. They think that everyone plays the same, or that the point of Minecraft is to defeat the ender dragon and min max and build all of the automatic farms they've seen people make. Not everyone enjoys rushing to the end of a game or trying to get the best stats. The reason people come back to the game is because there is nearly an infinite amount of things to do, and heck, they can even choose what NOT to do. Saying that, there is nothing wrong with rushing through Minecraft or playing in a way that I personally wouldn't. Because no one can tell you what you can or cannot do. I've been playing Minecraft for almost 15 years and there are still a lot of things that excite me about the game and new updates. Minecraft was the game I yearned for as a kid, and when I found out about it back in 2010 I knew that I had to have it. Although I am nearing 30 years of age, Minecraft still fascinates and inspires me. To reverse that, I will get inspiration from outside sources that motivate me to play Minecraft. It isn't worse than old versions, it is just different. The cool thing is, that if you want to play old versions, you still can!! Sometimes I play beta 1.7.3 with the mod better than adventure installed, and I enjoy it too. Play however you want! You don't even have to play if you don't find it enjoyable anymore. I think Sipover's video may have been better received if his criticisms were framed as his opinions, not as facts.

There is a little more too it than just "nostalgia", personally I tend to get bored of modern versions pretty quickly, but when I go back to an older version, I end of having way more fun with it, and feel an actual motivation to play the game for more than a few minutes at a time. I feel like there is a certain vibe that lost in newer versions, the old textures were way more colorful, whereas the new ones are more realistic, and muted, and alot of the weird fun stuff that were added in old updates, they don't seem to add things like that anymore, they're always too focused on making things "realistic". Also the old music is just way better than the new music, thats not nostalgia talking, it just fit the game way more

It's a kids movie. Like Transformers One, a freaking kids animation movie made to be kid-friendly for a younger audience of kids. Not for teenagers and adults. Deal with it.

The first ever season I've watched for my first time watching what beyblade burst is was Beyblade burst Turbo. Aiger showed me what beyblade is all about and expounds my knowledge that beyblade is not only fighting but bonds we created between a person or even an object showing that a relationship makes you stronger and more confident.
