Recently transferred rebuilt WDM-3A from Diesel Loco Shed Ernakulam (earlier homed at Tondiarpet DLS) in its unique Blue livery, notches up with South-bound 16337 OKHA - ERNAKULAM Bi-Weekly Express on a foggy winter morning after a scheduled halt at Jamnagar.

the cranking sound of wdp4 and wdp4d /4b are different, the cranking sound is a bit longer in wdp4 i think it is due to the difference in the hp of both the engines as wdp4 is 4000hp and wdp4d/4b are 4500hp
Duration of cranking depends on the battery voltage and the time period after which it is being restarted. However, there is some minor differences in the 'sound' of WDP4 and WDP4B/4D class locos. Difference in HP would not be the reason for that change in my opinion because, the lower 4000HP in WDP4 is due to its Bogie configuration (Bo-1-1-Bo)

Rakes got changed during lockdown period. The original rake of this train used to run as 'Paschim Clone Special'.

Patronage... People didn't prefer full 3AC train. It used to run with almost 300-400 seats unbooked on each run. Having some SL coaches increases the patronage
