Просмотров 105 тыс.4 года назад
Boris Karloff and Vincent Price perform 'The Two of Us' on The Red Skelton Hour, from the 1968 episode 'He Who Steals My Robot Steals Trash'
They are still alive in our minds and hearts.
This was great to watch. Can't stand what they call "horror movies" today. I call them gore. I loved watch Boris Karloff & Vincent Price along with Peter Laurie in "The Raven"
👍🙂
Don't make them like that anymore
What a treat! Two great stars who could scare the bejesus out of you on film having fun. And with Red. Awwwww . . .
Damn, I recognized that "GNYAARGH!!" He DID still "have it", indeed!
I thought the Abominable Dr Phibes was scary as hell when I was a kid.
Karloff & Price are my Fav for horror movies.
Two legends who will live on forever.
Too bad it wasn’t “Just the Two of Us”
It would have been better without Red Skeketon
This is "Price-less" thank you for sharing this. What a terrific duo and trio all in one performance. My grandpa was friends with Red Skelton but I never heard of this segment of one of his shows. The two class Horror icons!! You'll never have another like them.
I lived in the L.A. area in the 60's and 70's. I went to live variety, talk, game shows all the time. Red Skelton treated his studio audience with respect and love in a way few did. Oh so many acted like they cared, of course that's when the camera was on, but quickly forgot about us off camera.........not Red, he was the real deal.
Vincent did not really get into the horror stuff til much later..He played the bad guy but not a monster..fantastic clip
6:32 - Just as timely today (November, 2024) as it was way back then.
AWESOME!! Dint know this existed!!
TV sure has changed.
When entertainment was just for entertainment's sake.
Karloff nailed the monster growl and hand swing.
6:00 Kill!
I gotta be honest, I was expecting them to sing "Just the Two of Us." Anybody else? 😂🤣
What a gem
Always traveling on traveling traveling
I really miss this kind of performance.
😀👍❤🎉Yay!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ love these guys.. Boris and Vincent.
I have never seen Vincent Price do a character this overtly fruity before 😂
Red Skelton’s humor is pretty infantile and unsophisticated, it was a slog to watch him pull faces and do his hillbilly voice. 😅 I can’t speak badly about him though since he hosted much better actors and comedians than himself.
There was a lot of speculation that Vincent Price was gay; he wasn’t, but he didn’t really care if you thought he was! 😂
Red Skelton had zero comedic ability, I had to skip thru to find Boris and Vincent
What a treasure !!
How great! ❤
Excellent stuff!
He walks without a jerk.😅
two Icons...corney but still so great.
Boris Karloff, Vincent Price, Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, and Bela Lugosi, or as I call them, the Holy Quintet, were such interesting men. They all lived up to their name, and were so comical and intelligent.
The reference to the election suggest that this was from 1968
I grew up with these icons,LOVED the old horror films, never seen this, thanks.
My man. Visited Boris and his last wife Evelyn many times in their cool house down in Bramshott, Hampshire. Odd fella but nice to chat to for a limited time.
If you knew Boris Karloff and visited him at his home I bet many people would enjoy your stories. I’m sure he got more odd and reclusive since he was in a lot of chronic pain.
Imagine the Grinch and Zigzag singing this song.
I'm so glad I was a kid during the Golden Age of Horror, when these men were kings.
Perfectly done
Robbie Hagberg and Sue are you in the morning and I can get a new one tomorrow morning and I can go to work today if you need me to get it done before you leave the office and see if you want me to come to you and I can go to the house and I can get a new one tomorrow morning if you want to go to the store and see if you want me and I can run to the store and get it from the front office your phone
Unexpected videos like this are the reason I love RUclips.
And to think… he had emphysema and when he went off stage during this special, he had an oxygen tank at the ready. What a trooper. :) BTW, Vincent wasn’t Andre Delambre/The fly - that was Al Hedison. He played his brother trying to solve the mystery in the movie.
Born poor souls killed by the CRIMINAL TOBACCO PUSHERS and their ILLEGAL TOBACCO DRUG, which should be BANNED, NOW!
They were also pretty old. Sounds like an advertisement for smoking to me!
Two golden age legends.
Three, in fact.
Wow two legends!!!
Nice to revisit a bygone era. I was in my early teens when this aired.
Legit thought they'd covered The Beatles "Two of us" there for second based off the title. RIP Boris Karloff & Vincent Price.
