Hi everyone, thanks for your support on this video! Just a note: unless you know what you're doing and have some experience with bootloaders, it's probably not a good idea to mess around with this on any PC that you can't afford to brick! Making a mistake can make the system unbootable and while there are ways around this, it can be time consuming and frustrating. Try it out in a VM or non-critical machine first:)

Is this intended for "professionals"? It's so complicated manoeuvring through the "maze", for me, of "meaningless" pages, that I keep getting lost. Why can't just two or three actions be sufficient? That would be "EASY", "simple", "straightforward" and "intuitive" and any number of other euphemisms so liberally used in connection with computers.

Man dude straight up I cannot get a theme to work for the life of me. I have followed every instruction exactly. When I escalate privileges, I still see no icons in the folders. What is going on? Edit: Never mind. The file name had -master in it and the compatibility was broken. Make sure that the config file and the file/folder name match EXACTLY.

This isn't something you should play around with if you don't know what you are doing, this guy explains it like it's totally safe and easy to do, which isn't true, if you can't restore any bootloader manually this is not for you to experiment with, don't touch it.

Re my previous comment. I have gone into the "Disk Management" and alongside the "C" drive which shows "118.10 GB NTFS " there is a partition which shows 552 MB Healthy Recovery Partition. What do I do with this ?

I would never have guessed this is a first video - very well done. The only thing I would say is the audio is rather low if you're on a device that doesn't happen to make loud noises. Very much appreciate taking the time to do a full runthrough for beginners, and that you included how to boot from a ventoy usb. Good work and thanks!

Dual booting Windows and Linux, with UEFI, Secureboot, and TPM, is definitely trickier than the good old MBR days when you were dual booting Win 98 and Win XP. I have counteless times that Linux messed up my Windows boot loader, and it was difficult to fix with the sh*tty Dell bios.

I have the two operating systems on separate drives, when I boot the computer they both appear as an option, however, when Linux Mint goes to boot all I get is a black screen and a command prompt with this on it 👉 GRUB>_ It flashes, waiting for me to type something in order to continue to LinuX Mint. When I disconnect the Windows hard drive the Linux operating system boots without any problems. I used 'EasyBCD' to dual boot them too, but still no joy. Does anyone know how fix this?
