Apologies everyone. This was originally a twenty six minute video but the last twenty minutes was just looking at bitumen whilst I was talking to someone. I obviously missed the pause button. I couldn't delete the last twenty minutes on my phone so I had to find an editing app which I now need to learn how to use. Hopefully it will only get better from here.

That lower spot is the factory location for the power steering cooler. From what I've seen, the middle spot is used for a transmission cooler on some SXs. Also, the SX power steering cooler is a different design and is thinner, I used one to make fitting a front mount a bit easier.
Thanks, I couldn't remember where it was originally. I'll look into the thinner cooler.
I forgot to mention that with variable cam timing (VCT) it's not as important to upgrade the cams unless you're chasing huge power. But as I said your powerband will be higher in the rev range and would be advisable to destroke your block to allow it to rev.
It's awesome seeing such a big car do that.
Correction. At 5:48 I said that the territory rims didn't fit on my territory. 🤔 I meant to say on my XH falcon Ute.

Are you still running the Manta dump pipe? I couldn't tell from the video. You're running an external gate, I can see that much.

@@nick_captain_slow what rear housing are you running? Will you discuss your turbo specs in more detail in a subsequent video?
@@ej1478 I will now but to answer your question I initially ran the factory Garrett housing with a Turbo Smart actuator before installing a larger exhaust housing on a custom exhaust manifold with an external wastegate provision. The exhaust manifold still keeps the turbo in the factory location which is what I wanted.
@@nick_captain_slow okay, cool. I am very close to finalising my turbo choice. I already have the Manta cat-back fitted, but I have a venom dump and cat, and I have the full Plaz kit + plenum ready to order. I would love to try a G35-900, but the rear housing choices are very limited. I want to stay low mount (but use a 6Boost manifold) and retain the 5-bolt Garrett housing to keep my dump pipe. My other choice is to just go a GTX with an external gate off the rear housing (it will have to be plumb-back, though) as the easier option. I really would like a turbo which is as responsive as possible.
@@ej1478 I think that you would be happy with the 3584, not as responsive as the 3582 but gentler on the driveline.

Wow what was that broken cv or wheel spin do you run a locked transfer case on this beast ?
Just spinning all fours on street tires. Driveline all factory stock at the time. Now has a built transmission but the rest is still factory original.
