It's been awhile and I'm trying to convert kilometers to miles in my head as I write this but I believe the Pint X went faster than what you're describing. It was essentially an XR Plus in the form factor of a Pint, the XR was being discontinued, and as it turns out the Pint X got firmware updates to make it almost a Pint S. I think one of the points I made in the video was that the Pint X would hold its value more than my existing XR Plus as I was planning on eventually selling the Pint X for a GT, which I did and now I'm on the GTS.

@@romantrotta4192 after I made this video I eventually sold the X bought a GT, sold that and then bought a GTS. If I was going to have a spare board laying around I would make it the GT as I think it is much more safer than the XR due to its increased power torque and headroom. I know these cost a lot of money though.

@mikeintampa250 Yeah, they are pricey, that's for sure. I'm completely aware of the limitations of the XR, but I usually don't push it too hard...I usually just leisurely cruise around...it clears my head. I have family in Tarpon Springs, they tell me they dodged a bullet with that last hurricane. Another storm coming...stay safe.

@@romantrotta4192 thanks much, that's how I ride to just for pleasure and it clears my mind as well. I hope your family made it through Helene okay, this one is taking a direct aim at us though so they may want to evacuate sooner rather than later given Tarpon Springs low sea level. All my best.

@mikeintampa250 The predicted path looks pretty scary. They will evacuate when it's recommended....I'm the knucklehead that would insist on staying, (luckily I'm on my boat in Maryland). My best to you, as well. Good luck.

@@humble1-v9v it's on tight enough maybe the image doesn't show it but I've crashed several times the helmet never falls off and the way it is right now it just feels comfortable to me it doesn't slide around for this particular helmet, but good question.

@@exterior2007 thanks for asking but I don't have one to sell. I just saw an ad today I think Pint X is $500 off at the Onewheel website. The GT and or the GTS may be on sale there too, check it out.

I subsequently got the GT which was great and now I have the GTS which I think is even greater

I've never tried that but I don't see why it couldn't. It's a little beast and I think it is on sale right now for like 1k.

I've been out of action for a year due to a knee operation but I just started riding again on the GTS.

I used to get 40 to 45 miles down to 0% on the s18. What kind of range are you getting on the s19? Also are you having any problems with the s19 rollers?

I have a GTS now but I miss that smaller form factor of the Pint X; it's so cool!

Hi Seth, me too, thanks for asking. I hurt my knee about three or four months ago and I may have torn the meniscus and it's not healing as quickly as I thought. I'm not completely better yet but I'm a lot better than I was. Hope your board is holding up so you don't have to keep on pushing. 🙂

Oh it's fine my other board like the rip stick from razor I'm getting ready to let it go and move over to the euc

Hi Brent I recommend the Pint x. At your height your feet probably will not be too big for it. I'm a size 10 u.s. and it is fine for me. It'll give you enough power and juice to take you on some amazing adventures and if you ever want to upgrade you can always sell it and use the money to get a GT.

Hi Brent, yeah that hurricane was pretty crazy and it was interesting exploring afterwards on the Onewheel. I'm kind of torn trying to formulate a response to your question. I actually really enjoyed the Pint X a lot. It took me wherever I wanted to go on trails or even up some hills. On the other hand the GT seems to have access to more power for longer time periods. If you get the Pint x and really get into Onewheeling you might end up wanting the GT but it's okay because there should be a lot of buyers out there for the pintX. Mine sold immediately and I know others have too when they were ready to sell theirs and then I just used that money to help pay for the GT. So unless you are a really heavy person with very large feet I would recommend starting on the PintX. Thanks for subbing!

Congrats John, and glad you're enjoying it. I think the ghosting was fixed about a year ago.

First of all that's awesome that you're thinking about getting one. Whichever one you choose it's going to change your life. A couple things to think about, if you get the Pint X it will not set you back as much as a GT would and if you decide Onewheeling isn't for you you'll be able to sell it and get most of your money back. If you decide it is for you you could always sell it and get most of your money back and use that money towards a GT. The GT is a lot more powerful than the X and it therefore may be more difficult to learn at first because you have to learn how to contain the power. On the other hand you're a size 11 shoe and so the foot pads on the GT are wider and may be more comfortable for you. That comfort may lead you to like the Onewheel even more. I am about your weight and so I appreciate the extra power of the GT getting me through areas that the X might have difficulty doing. Therefore because of your weight in the size of your foot I will recommend the GT to you.

I started off learning in a park on the grass so when you inevitably fall off it won't hurt as bad as concrete. But after two nights after work it started clicking and I started being able to move on the sidewalks more comfortably and then on to the roads. Congratulations!

@@mikeintampa250 Thank you. I just rode for 4 miles around the local lake at blistering 5-8 mph LOL. My legs feel like they're on fire but I can't wait to ride again as soon as it'll stop raining. Keep cranking out content, I'm inspired by riders like you.

Hi Martin, I am filming myself with a 360 camera. At a minimum when riding a Onewheel I always wear a helmet and wrist guards along with a wrist mirror. When I ride euc's I have the full set of gear on including elbow and forearm guards along with knee and shin guards. You could see that on some of my other videos where I'm riding an EUC.

Thanks Randall, I started on a Segway Minipro, moved up to Onewheels, loved it/still loving it, and now ride EUC's too. It's a great and fun scene. Hope you keep on enjoying it!

@@mikeintampa250 I had never snowboarded, skied, skate boarded or anything like that…First watched a one wheel you tube video about a year ago…Tried to find someone local to help me decide which one to get…Nothing…Decided go on my own…Felt the GT was the best so got it about 4 months ago…Really loving it…Have had a few tumbles learning but slow speed….Thanks, Mike for sharing your videos.

Hi, I am about your age and have been riding for about four and a half years but I didn't have a skating background. I have fallen several times including recently, but as FM and everyone else advises, you should gear up most importantly with a helmet. I wear a helmet and wrist guards. When I have fallen 99% of the time it has been in the grass where there's a hidden divot or hole and I try to roll out of it. But most of the time I do not fall.

I’m 75 and still learning…Got a GT 4 months ago…Taking my time…Only have 15 miles on it but really fun learning..

@@randallhash9283 that is awesome! Do what you're doing just keep taking it slow and you'll get better and better.

Thank you, the Onewheel GT is great. I've never run out of juice yet with it and it has a lot more power than previous Onewheels. I am also into eucs like you noted and I'm currently on the Master as a matter of fact a couple of friends and me went 92 miles yesterday it was a great time. During the week I usually ride the GT around my neighborhood as it's easier to maneuver and I don't want to scare pedestrians, although that's starting to change a little bit with the Mten4. But on the weekend I'm definitely into EUC riding on long rides.
