Thanks for sharing Steve. When I did this section it was quite murky so great to see some views. Its a lovely remote section. I did not see one other walker from Llandovery to Pontewyd. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your journey. 👍👍
I really am enjoying your videos. Some great pointers for a lejog walk.😊
Nice to hear the birds all the way Steve. I really enjoyed the trail with you there. The Wye is my spiritual home - I recommend the Wye Valley Walk - there are some great sections. If interested there's a series of videos on my channel covering the whole walk - just tap in or look for Wye Valley walk/Wye Explorer. Well, you tried the tarp. All the best. Mark
The back story to how Patrick (a very poor individual from rural Ireland) and Maria (prounounced Mariah) (from a very middle class family in Cornwall) met is as fascinating and interesting as any of the subsequent Bronte sister novels. Mother of the Brontes is the book to read.
Great drone footage of the hill fort
Another good watch great to see you back out
Thank you.
I am very much enjoying following your walk, the radio for company is ideal
Thank you.
Wise move I reckon to postpone the rest of this walk until your Spring. Looking forward to seeing your videos of Spain.
Spent a night in Gregs hut in December 2007. It's got a new stove.
Enjoyed watching, good progress so far👍
Steve. My favourite walking you tuber.
Thank you!
Well done!! Enjoyed watching your journey and liked the historical bits.
Thank you very much.
Another enjoyable episode. I loved the beautiful time lapse sunset at Malham Tarn.
Many thanks!
enjoyed that...brought back some memories
Great route through Yorkshire Steve.
Thank you.
Hi Steve. love your progress so far, and all the extra work with your walk throughs, which really improve the video quality. Good luckwith the weather as you progress north.
Really enjoying watching your journey Steve, great footage. Pleasing to see you walk through my local area. Thank you for sharing.
I love your videos. Could you give us some information on how you film & mix these?
I just use a Gopro 12 and edit it on an iPhone using the Imovie app and the Travelboast app.
Absolutely love watching your videos Steve. Thank you. Mike
Thank you very much!
Some of the scenery was spectacular and that sunrise!!! How much of the Pennine Way has the path laid with those flagstones? Amazing work by whoever and whenever it was done.
Wow !!! I want to live a natural life in the countryside !!❤❤❤💯
Great to see you back on the trail! Thanks for making and sharing. 🙏🇦🇺
@@francisday3187 Thank you!
You first guy on RUclips going the way I would the other way would be up the Cumbria way up from the cost Pathway on to the wall to the last of pennies way there short cut up the Dales highway. Buy leave before haws going to dent cut big east West of the Pennine way to Dufton. By going through applyby on the settle line
How hyped I'm I to see the next instalment, been waiting ages.
@@martf8014 Thank you!
Go pro 12 Steve ?.. Lovely colors.. Great achievement well done mate epic.. I am not sure if i would myself walk right next to cliffs due to landslides..
Loving the scenery. Just on a creepier note, did anyone else hear the 'yelp' in the bothy when Steve was looking around. Sounded like a womans voice 👻
It has been an unusually wet year here too Steve. Everything is still so lush and green when you would expect hot and dry. Great video again, thanks.
@@peterreeman2141 Popping over to France in August. Hoping it’s going to be hot and sunny then.
There is always a place here for you to rest as long as you like.. It would be great to catch up if you are in the area.
@@peterreeman2141 Thank you!
very good vid there. i think you are the first person i've come across to incorporate the cambrian way into lejog - marvellous ides. why waste all that fitness when you are passing through. good weather for the time of year. good walking
Great video, Steve! We met a few weeks ago, when I was doing the Cambrian Way, you were at a bus stop and nipping off for a rest day. Looking forward to following the rest of your LEJOG journey...😁👊
Hi Tim good to hear from you. Congrats on doing the Cambrian Way, I copped out after Snowden and went the easy way to Conwy. Continuing my walk when/if the weather starts getting sunnier.
The Cambrian Way was tough but absolutely stunning! Was great meeting you and I'm looking forward to seeing more videos from you - you do them really well! Hopefully you'll have a Summer eventually, so you can continue your journey...😁
Another fantastic video, Steve. Looking forward to seeing you when you're back. Are you thinking of walking the Pennine Way route this time?
Would like to (working out a route from Chester to Edale or maybe Kinder Low) but waiting for the weather to improve as it seems to be always foggy when I go up to high points at the mo.
Steve, have you considered using the Leeds and Liverpool canal to avoid the urban sections in the Liverpool/Manchester area?
Another enjoyable video Steve. Enjoy your holiday in France! 😎
Thank you!
Our Day Out was filmed at the castle.
Excellent series of films Steve, very informative 👍
Thank you!
Brilliant video loved it. 😄😄😄😄
Thank you very much!
awesome stuff Steve.
Thanks for posting this latest video. I'm really enjoying watching your journey and this section was a delight to watch.
Thank you very much.
That section looked brilliant, great views. Thanks for posting all the best 👍
Thank you very much.
Steve thank you for making these videos. I really look forward to each one. PS a fellow Radio 4 listener here.
Thank you.
I've been looking forward to this instalment. The first part of this walk over the Rhinogs is fantastic. Done it several times (both directions). Good decision on the low route. The Northern part of the traverse is very tough hiking, and route finding is hard if the visibility is poor.
Just Snowdon or Yr Wyddfa. Not Mount. Excellent video as usual.
Thank you.
Very interesting and informative Steve. Your Welsh pronunciation is hilarious, but well done for trying 👍
Just wait until Steve gets to the Highlands!
Maybe sort out the spelling then people might be able to pronounce the names better?
@@excession3076I do hope that this comment is tongue in cheek. You do.know that Welsh is an older language than English I assume?
A really interesting series of films. How are you navigating whilst on this walk. I'm guessing you are not carrying paper maps 👍
Well done for persisting in your efforts to climb Cadair Idris (a favourite mountain of mine), and shame the weather didn't cooperate. For those interested the amazing views can be seen on Snowymatrix's video of this section of the Cambrian Way (#14)
Yes the Snowymatrix videos have been very informative for planning this walk.
I loved the footage you shot with your new Go Pro. The 180 degree views were amazing. 👍 I hope you have nicer weather soon! 🤞
Thank you for posting the video and outing the journey you've taken since the last upload. I'm really enjoying following your adventure!
Thank you!
Great video again, enjoying your walks through the beautiful Welsh countryside
Thank you very much.
that was a lovely stage, and very professional as usual. thanks |Steve.
Hi Pete! Still hope to go back to France soon.
I enjoyed this video ... beautiful scenery and interesting commentary as usual. Great to see you back on the trail! Thanks for making and sharing with us. 🙏
Thank you very much.
Lovely walk again mate thanks 😊
Thank you very much.
Stunning scenery and so remote. Glad to see you back on the trail.
Thank you very much.
Good to see you back!
Thank you very much.
