Another point about Into the Flood Maw, and the Gift Mechanic generally, the gifted opponent doesn't have to be the same as owner of the bounced permanent. I think this makes it way better

If you stack the creatures correctly you can do some wicked life drainage with Bilbo Birthday Celebrant's tap ability. If you place down mirkwood bats first and then start putting down things that give you food tokens... 🫢 ✨Death✨ I do however agree that Bilbo should be a commander for his own life gain focused deck. I personally removed him from my Cooking With Hobbits deck. Not exactly what I needed to be doing. Edit: Also... Dude... For those asking and those that might want to ask: Each Wick sees 5 rats entering. Since the Snail already exists, each Wick places 5 +1/+1 counters on the snail and that happens 6 times (5 because of the tokens and 1 because of the original Wick), meaning you put 30 +1/+1 counters, resulting in a 31/31 Snail. Math was wrong by 1, but the idea is correct and great ❤

Your math doesn’t make sense as each copy isn’t doubling the 1/1 counters on your snail, just adding a +1/+1 counter on it, so if I’m not mistaken you would send up with a 6/6 snail

Very neat, though I'm more excited for Vren the Relentless, Dimir 3/4 Rat for 4 cmc that makes a bunch of Pack Rat tokens and exiles opponents creatures, and being 1 less color makes mana bases easier and decklists more concise. Though any Rat Commander having blue means you can use Reflections of Littjara for your Thrummingstoned Relentless/Colony vomit

Definitely a bit disappointed with ms bumbleflower. I’m got into commander because of the doctor who decks and have been messing around with a second doctor deck for a few months and was really hoping for some new interesting grouphug cards but the commander really doesn’t tell us much :/
