Late to the party, but just came across this. I am a huge Queen fan and love everything they do. BUT, I have always preferred the early Queen albums. This record and Queen II are my favorites!

Dream Time Machine could easily fit on something like Passion Pain and Demon Slaying. I haven't listened to this album in so long. It's really interesting coming back to it and hearing a lot of musically concepts he leans into later first pop up on here. Really hoping he follows through with a WZRD 2 especially with him talking about stepping away from the Kid Cudi moniker and wanting to make happier music. He's mentioned it again recently and after hearing Blue Sky and Round N Round I think it's time

Queen II and Sheer Heart Attack are concept albums thats why i believe a lot of people are drawn to them.

There are no bands today that even hold a candle to the bands and artists from the 60s 70s 80s and some 90s . Music today is boring . The gifted artists from back then dont exist today. If and artist puts out one good song on a album there happy. Back in those era's made every song on the albums were awesome.

My favorite is SHEER HEART ATTACK

If you do the whole album then dont worry.

This is such a great production from the train sounds to the vocal harmonies, the trumpet intermezzo and the massieve drum/ strings outro just magnificent

I’m with you. Paul has always been my favorite. I really loved his solo songs with the Beatles…..Michelle, Yesterday, Let It Be. His Melodie’s are the best! And like you said….so diverse. Paul’s music varies from very rock to very soft. None of his songs sound the same. I mean they are so different. From Uncle Albert to My Love to Magneto and Titanium Man to Venus and Mars to Junior’s Farm to Silly Love Songs etc. etc. They are all GREAT and so different from each other. I really liked this song too …London Town. Never really listened to it before.

The Way Life's Meant To Be" -- For those of us born "a while back" who remember the world before mobile phones and internet, this song is so very relatable. Back then, we had one world. Now, we have 7 billion worlds, and everyone is utterly alone in theirs. Walk down the busiest street, and no one will so much as look you in the eye. They're all on their phones. You may as well be a tree, just something in their way. All our modern wonders have isolated us. Most young people I meet now, can't even engage with a stranger (me) in conversation at all. If I say so much as 2 words, they just look like a deer in headlights - terrified. Except for nature, I don't like it here anymore.

"Julie Don't Live Here" really should have been threaded into the CD. Between 2095 and Ticket. Still in my top 10 fave albums. It drops off the list, then I hear it again and I love it all over.

My favorite ELO album, favorite songs being Yours Truly 2025, Another Heart Breaks and From the End of the World. I love the weird vibe of this album in general, it really takes you on a journey.

The song is about Jeff missing his home. I read that it also refers to his favorite team that obviously plays from Birmingham. He's sending a message that his blues are from his absence from home as he is constantly touring the world, at that present time in his life. One can definitely sense his complaint in this song.
