This presentation provides the audience a clear understanding of what compassion is, why it is essential, and why is should be managed. The audience was also given the tools to identify burnout early and what to do if they identify the early warnings signs and steps they can take to mitigate the burnout, so they can continue to be effective responders utilizing the positive aspects of compassion.
