SNAILS are in my FISH TANK! 🐌 😭
If you have ever had SNAILS in your fish tank, you know how awfully FAST they can get out of control!
These snails have TAKEN OVER my Endler Guppy Tank!
So today, I decided to work on cleaning up the excess snail population.
These snails will be relocated to what I call my "Junk Aquarium" which btw I think everyone should have!!

We always called them sucker fish...i never realized they were actually cat fish! I love them!
Yes!! Isn't that so interesting? I call them sucker fish too but technically they are in the catfish family. They just don't get HUGE like their lake living cousins.
Get a pea puffer to eat keep the snail population low. I have one in my guppy tank with no issue
I've been thinking about setting up a pea tank!! But I don't want to get them just for the purpose of dealing with the snails lol ya know?
I use them as well. They do a good job
I think you should plant them on the substrate, these plants need a lot of nutrition
Yes I saw my local fish store somehow got this stuff to grow ON lava rocks but I don’t think I’m that talented yet 😂 so I will stick the stuff back into the substrate

That's so wrong... Wrong tool and you need more substrate.
You can use whatever tool works best for you. I know tons of people who use gravel vacs and are happy. This tool + strategy works for me. This tank was never designed to have heavy substrate. I was going for more of a minimalist look.
Girl that’s awesome. I’m going to have to try something like this because my planted shrimp tank has so much detritus on the bottom I fear I need a tiny gravel vac
I saw the TINIEST gravel vacuum at my local Walmart!! It would be perfect for a shrimp tank! Maybe you could find that? Or search 'Julian's Thing'... It's a tool designed by a famous reefkeeper that is great for tiny tanks. They market it as a feeding tool, but I could see it being used for cleanings. But also like I said in the video, I'm a huge fan of going to the dollar store and seeing what weird kitchen items I can use as aquarium supplies for $1.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't dirt soil? So your filter is just sucking the soil out of the tank?
SORRY!! I think I said dirt in the video, but its actually fish waste. This tank did not start with a dirt bottom. Even though this stuff looks exactly like dirt! Sorry for being confusing in the voice over!

Apparently it is difficult to grow a palatable avocado tree from a seed. There is a 1/10.000 chance the tree will produce palatable fruit. To get a tree with good fruits, you would need to graft it a scion from a mature avocado tree onto a rootstock.

While similar to the typical pest cockroach, we always called these water bugs because we had a problem with them in areas with plentiful water. I guess they need an extremely moist environment. From what I understand, because they aren't German cockroaches, they don't spread the same kind of diseases. If that's any comfort at all.
Water bugs is such a friendlier name for them :) I love not making bugs the villain. They are creatures just like us!

What's the purpose of this avocado? The avocado is a tree so it'd end up being way too big for any aquarium. My avo tree is almost a hundred years old and is at least 25 feet (7.62m) tall.
