I have UK and US citizenship. I have lived in Asia and bought companies in Germany, Czechia, Italy, and Poland. Rejoiners are living in the past. Most don't understand history or geopolitics. The EU is falling apart and in decline. Most rejoiners have only ever visited Europe as tourists. The future is in Asia and the EU is holding Britain back. I have done business in the Gulf, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Malaysia and it was easy because they were once British colonies and Britain established the legal and financial rules. Britain can sell them services. I did one of the first acquisitions of a public company in Czechia and it was hard work because there were no rules and they don't speak English. Britons are fed a diet of propaganda and have no idea what is going on.

The biggest problem of the uk is not Brexit but private schools the class system a house of lords functioning as a pension scheme for parlamentarians and friends. We may have closer ties with New Zealand than Bulgaria, but we have closer ties with France and Spain than New Zealand. I voted for Brexit because I am not an imperialist and did not want to be a part of the neo-liberal empire. I hoped to recover our sovereignty in a multipolar world of cooperating sovereign states.
