What a massive project you've put out there. Using Eevee as the base line for the rest of the Eeveeolutions was an interesting perspective. Because under that lens you can definitely see that Kanto is not kind to fire and electric types,but Flareon and Jolteon would get better in gen 4, because they have better type matchups,at least up until round 2 Lance. Umbreon in the middle seems fitting. Because it lacks a great attacking move via its level up move set, which kind of impacts the early game,even though the dark typing and its bulk made it shine in round 1 and round 2. Espeon and Vaporeon have the better the better typing,but still nothing beats clam mind as a set up move. I wonder how it would impact Umbreon if it could get that move.🤔 It took me a while to watch the entire thing ,but it was worth it,and I usually don't like to watch more than 2 hours long videos. But I bet that took longer to make. I can guess that it took a ton of energy and effort to edit and to record 6 different runs. Well done!😮

Dude, you’re handicapping the hell out of jolteon. No shock wave or shadow ball? With HP water, just use thunder wave instead of curse. Curse and secret power are awful for jolteon even just for coverage. Jolteon is meant to kill quickly, there’s only a handful of Pokémon that should even be an issue.

i will say ive ran the eeveelutions and theres something funny about running curse jolteon. this was done because i knew hp ice wasnt gonna one shot the steelixeses so i had to go water and rely only curse return to deal with grass/dragon types

Placing my bet: consider the movepool syndrome, Flareon having the only nice coverage will competes with Vaporeon and Umbreon with their good bulk. But if custom hidden power are allowed, it's a toss up between Jolteon and Espeon. Both will have trouble vs Brock, with Jolteon having it worse, but afterward it's smooth sailing for them.

What do you think if you traveled to the Johto region instead of the sevii islands after beating the pokemon league? I'm currently brainstorming a romhack where Oak gives you a ticket to go to the Johto region instead and you get to collect another set of 8 badges with some familiar and new gym leaders The new gym leaders I have in mind for this line up are: Jasmine with short hair before becoming a steel type specialist Chuck freshly promoted to gym leader Kimonomaster the mother of the kimono girls and mentor of Morty with a full team of eeveelutions Slightly younger Pryce Walker the father of Falkner DJ Mary the older sister of Whitney Kurt the pokeball maker and mentor of Bugsy The Dragonmaster elder who is also the grandfather 9f both Lance and Clair After collecting all 8 badges you get to challenge the round 2 league and even get to have a secret battle with professor oak afterwards

Rewatching this (because I've been playing a TON of Graveyard Keeper myself, lately), and have a couple of things to comment on. - First, I'd forgotten how GOOD this video is. There's a reason I went right from watching this to your Stardew run. Would love to see more of these long-form playthroughs! Absolutely slaying it, man! - Second, a piece of advice for new players who may be watching this that I don't think you touched on. If you run into the problem of not having enough peat - either in the early game when you're first struggling to get your farm up and running, or in the mid game when you start chewing through peat with a quickness because you're getting heavily into crafting fertilizers - it can be handy to know that the Shepherd will sell you a stack of 30 peat every day for (literally) dirt cheap. When I started my current run, it was handy to just cough up 60c and not have to wait for a few crop cycles to have enough peat for all that I wanted to plant. As a side note to that, if you're struggling for cash at the start of the game, it's easy to miss that you can sell raw stone to Corey for a decent amount - enough to get a teleport stone and a stack of peat on day 1 anyways. It's probably the easiest source of early game cash that I've found. - Last (and I acknowledge I'm being super pedantic here) I think when noble rank 'marquis' is spelled that way rather than 'marquess', it uses the french pronunciation, sounding more like "mar-kee" than "mar-kwis".

I wish you hadn’t skimmed over the story beats so much. Part of me watched the video to see the story. This game is way too grindy and has terrible UI for its talent trees and players can get effectively stuck forever because they unlocked skills in the wrong order without any way of knowing that. Because of this, I’ve played through about half of this game multiple times and gave up out of frustration. I don’t want to have to google how to do everything in a game. Anyway, I loved the story and atmosphere of this game and was hoping this almost five hour video included more of the story details. :-(
