Which is the "best" ?... or which one preserves all the definition of the source? :) I think it's the blue The coloring of the reverb as such is a matter of taste or context. But in any case, if the reverb destroys the signal, it doesn't work.

I’ve got them both, mainly using CR right now and yet to really get stuck into 7H. It’s certainly all contextual. I tend to lean on CR more so for big modern cinematic mixes where clarity is required to avoid too much confusion and blending. 7H is probably more suitable to compositions emulating a natural space where the instruments can ‘sit’ in the room and blend. What do you think?

I've noticed that the Bricasti always sounds great on single instruments, and that may be because one gets to hear the tail in isolation, which warmly recedes into a background zone. But I'm not sure that this quality would work so well on complete tracks.

No difference, why dont you play just wet reverb? This way it will be easier to hear just the effect, dry signal way to loud! I just did test Seventh Heaven vs Bricasti M-7 Hardware, same program names, sound drastically different, in my opinion 7th heaven sounds a bit boxy more mids around 400-1000k area, M-7 sounds more defined and complete, no need eq correction..

I wore these to a notoriously loud Japanese band a couple of years back. The venue was cramped so the overall volume and quality was horrendous. These little guys made a huge difference to the evening and, even more importantly, to the absence of any telltale ringing the next day. Definitely needs a decent carrying solution though, but there are many of those to be found.

Little note for you and anyone reading the comments, the "THUMP" button doesn't give sub frequencies a boost, it gives the low cut filter a resonant peak, which when set to 20Hz gives the appearance of a boost of 20-25Hz on your analyzer. You never moved the low cut knob with thump engaged to demonstrate this.
