Bad Timing? Sonic Superstars for Nintendo Switch Review
Sonic Superstars feels fantastic to play, sharing the same physics engine as the spectacular Sonic Mania. But is it enough? Releasing the same week as the incredible Super Mario Bros Wonder, Sonic Superstars' many weaknesses sting that much more, especially on the Nintendo Switch. Sonic Superstars was clearly made with PS5/XBox Series consoles in mind, and the Switch version experiences some wildly degraded graphics, including some of the ugliest textures this side of the N64. There's a good game here, but it feels just shy of greatness.

I call that 16-bit handheld the Mega Nomad because in Japan and Europe the non-handheld version is called the Mega Dribe
iPad is better
The Nomad can do 3D graphics, there's some Electronic Arts games and even TENGEN games that does not require the SVP chip, you can enable Virtua Racing support via an internal mod btw. And yeah there's a 3D model battery pack that you can use lihon batteries like the ones from a flashlight... Or you can put a phone battery in it if you want.
