With white architecture like nowhere else in the world, the city of Ashgabat is so empty. There are dozens of huge white marble apartment buildings but there are no people going in or out in any of them. There is no doubt that Turkmenistan is by far the most mysterious and unexplored Country of Central Asia. Turkmenistan became famous for the bizarre dictatorship of Saparmyrat Niyazov, Niyazov ...

In this video, I took a train for Mashhad from Tehran railway station. Mashhad is a city in Khorasan province in Iran. Almost everything about Mashhad relates to its role as the holiest city in Iran. Iran is a big country, with hundreds of kilometers between major cities. Trains are a good way to bridge those long distances. On long distances, trains are faster, more comfortable and safer. It w...

Many travelers tend to skip Tehran while exploring Iran considering Tehran a chaotic jumble of concrete and crazy traffic but this tightly ...

At 16min there is finnish language spoken. Did you hangout with the other europeans in the train? 😊 they said at least the following words : "Sisältää " "meidän"
Yes, I did meet and hang out with a group of 4 nice people from Finland
nice vlog!
Thank you !

My friend! How did you go about purchasing the actual ticket to Tabriz? Did you buy it from the website/app or did you buy it from the desks at the train station in Ankara? Cheers
❤🇮🇷🇮🇷
Your train looks cool
We love traveling by train
is it safe?
You boarded the lowest train model in Iran. There are very good trains like Fadak in Iran that you could use
I just took a train that fitted my schedule and I liked it 👍 hopefully I will back some day too check out the other trains 🚂
where do i get the ticket ?
Did you pass Turkish immigration?
Hi, would you know about the train from Tashkent to Dushanbe and how do i book the tickets?
Your tour guide is really top-notch and super cool. I’m planning to head over there soon and check out the area. Mind hooking me up with their contact info? Thanks a bunch!
Sir man I'm in Turkey I one to travel to Iran so how can you help me
Great video. 🤣🤣 Those toilets in the ground will keep your colon and prostate in tip top shape until you're ready to die. 90% of men who live in Western countries with sitting toilets will have issues with colon and/or prostate. The muscle structure around your genitals, rear and midsection become weak with age and put pressure on internal organs.
that's true
Any train which goes from Iran to Russia?
12:03 - this is the highlight of this trip. A European woman swimming in remote area of a Muslim country 👌🏻
Thank you for sharing this wonderful journey with us 🙏🏻

I watched your video with interest. I envy very much on your undertaking. I have a personal interest on Silk Road. It seems that your journey was taken during the Corvid 19. If you would be kind to let me know the length of the journey . I am also curious about your luggage. You never showed on the video. Great watch. Thank you for the wonderful video.
What a lovely companion to have as a tour guide.
Yes, indeed
@@Railwaystories based on personal experience I find the Women of Tehran to be very elegant, they carry themselves well, not sure about other parts of Iran? I haven't really ventured far beyond Tehran
Thanks for capturing all of this, really something out of the ordinary.
Thank you for your nice feedback 🙂

I am always thrilled when I meet Iranians at airports. They are strikingly beautiful people, and the ones are meet are always very distinguished, educated and polite.

Hi! What a great and insightful video! I wanted to ask you, I’m planning a trip to Iran and I just found out thanks to your video that there is a train from Turkey to Iran which is great! But my question is, did they stamp your passport? I have been reading online that Iran no longer stamps foreign passports entry/departure and visas are given in a separate document. I read somewhere else that at the airports in Tehran, Shiraz and other city where the major airports are have been doing that for some years. Is it the same case when crossing the border by land? Because if they do, then I rather taking a flight from Istanbul 😬Any insight is be much appreciated! 🙏
Thank you so much for your feedback. I did enter Iran both with train and plane. I did check my old passport now, and I couldn't find any iranian stamps. But I'm not 100 % sure.
@@Railwaystories I see! And the visa, was it given separately?
Yes, I think so. I needed a visa from the embassy in my home country because the land border doesn't give out visa on arrival
@@Railwaystories I appreciate your time! Keep it up with the great content! 🎉🎉
Great to come across this video. This journey is so high on my list. Unfortunately no trains now from Europe into Turkey. When did you record all this?
I recorded this back in 2019. Thank you for your feedback.
Great Video Mate, how much you pay for the ticket?
I don't really remember now unfortunately. I think it was about 150 usd for the hole cabin
@@Railwaystories thx for the quick reply, 150 bucks for the hole cabin? Great Deal 👍🏼
I love these travel videos and enjoy them very much. I have a request to make. when you are passing some towns and cities can you please put the names of these towns for us to know which areas the train passes through. I am a blue-blooded Railwayman's daughter and have lived in a railway colony just in front of the railway tracks and have literally grown up with the sounds of trains passing through.
Thank you for your kind words
Great videos. I am watching them all now. Can you show more food on trains, and explain what it is. Also are there any women travelling alone on these routes? Also are there any foreign women travelling, even with husband? As I am interested as the train website said the sexes are separated and cant sleep in the same cabin etc (unless you buy the 4 seats of the whole cabin). Thank you
I did see some western women traveling alone on this route. They were placed in cabins with other women. And sure I will do more about food in the future 😁
