nothing worse than getting bag skated, also the shape you get in from doing it consistently gets you in incredible shape, every august i would go through two weeks of this and get in great shape for the upcoming season. Hockey players are truly the most well rounded athletes out there, as an amateur i would skate every day, lift light weights( 300lb squat 3x10) and bike 20km on top of all the skating and my god i could eat anything i wanted and stil always hungry

I’ll never forget, in high school we had a football scrimmage against a team we should’ve beat the breaks off of, and we didn’t, and the scrimmage was at their field. Our coach made us run sidelines and do push-ups on that field in front of everyone after the game. Never forget that moment

Damn it just hit me that in the beginning of the movie he got the players to stand up and say their name and who they play for. They all said their colleges. Then at the end he says “United States of America”. When they finally became a real team.

Unfortunately, it’s cut out of this clip, but Craig’s reaction at the end of this scene is awesome, and important to Brooks’ character development. Craig questions Brooks the majority of this scene and views it as cruelty for cruelty’s sake. When Rizzo exclaims who he plays for and Brooks calls off the exercise, Craig realizes the method to Brooks’ madness. Finally realizing Brooks’ training style, Craig gives off a big smile and has an Aha moment.
