Very well done!
I hope you have gained some tips for your own creative work, too! Thanks.

Very helpful - thank you 🌼🌷🌼
You are so welcome! I hope you can use a tip or two in your own work.
@@JensterJohansson ❤ You are a very good teacher, I am from germany and my english is not so well.
Thank you Jenster. Your video is great, thank you, the problem I have is when I play the timeline it reproduce each layer consecutively. I can't have the video of both layers together. Thanks again for your concern.
I might not be understanding, but ONLY the first text is drawn with the hand. Then, a black copy of the text comes in with NO DRAW, and it is scooted down and over a couple of arrow hits. Then, another copy of the original text comes in with NO DRAW, but it is exactly on top of the original text. Both come in so fast after the hand draws the first, you don't notice that the black "shadow" and the original text was placed on there again. It has to be in that order, otherwise if the black shadow were last, it would be on top of everything. That's why the original text again has to be placed last without any draw duration.
@@JensterJohansson Thank you Jenster, appreciated. I understand what you say and that's my expected result, but for some reason the two layers are played consecutively and not simultaneously. I see no option in the menu to correct this. Thanks again, I wish I could do it.
It seems that it works, but I'm a little dummy. Thanks for the puzzle, I'll solve it :)
It was a tutorial I put together quickly, so it isn't as detailed with a verbal explanation. But, if you pause each set of asset settings, I believe it can be figured out. It's just a matter of layering the shadow and repeated original text in with no draw after the first drawing of the original text. So, there's the drawing in, then when it is finished, immediately place the shadow and a copy of the original both with no draw, with the shadow part ONLY moved slightly down and over in position. Thank you for viewing the video; let me know if you need further clarification, and good luck with your projects.

@@alfredorates5404 Do you have the shadow and repeated original text set with no delay and no draw duration?
OMG!!! Thank you for this tutorial! AWESOME!
You are so welcome! I hope it helps with your projects. I appreciate your comment.
Just brilliant....Second to NONE !!
So glad it was helpful. Thank you for watching!
Excellent video Thanks!!
I hope it will be helpful in your Doodling! I appreciate your view and comments.
Another good one! Keep them coming!
More to come!
Great video 👍
Glad you enjoyed it

I've just found your channel and you are a Rock Star! I have subscribed. Thank you for sharing with the rest of us.
Welcome aboard! I'm trying to get more tutorials out, and your comment motivates me even more.
Brilliant as usual.....
You're awfully nice. Thank you!
A brilliant presentation !!!
How kind and cool of you to say so. Many thanks to you.
Thank you for this video. I have a problem, which is that I can't get the delay to stay on 0.1...even though I save that setting for each move, some of them always revert to 0.5. Is there a way around this?
It is important to make sure your cursor is not over any of your assets' settings before scrolling. Scrolling while on top of them will cause them to dial through the settings. Be sure to move your mouse/trackpad cursor off the toolbox before scrolling.
@@JensterJohansson Thanks v much.....finally got it! Very helpful...many thanks
It's a useful tutorial!
I appreciate that you watched and commented. Thanks!
Awesome. Just save me a bunch for elite masterclass fees... Appreciate it my friend!
Happy to help!
good job done
I appreciate your comment and views.
short but sweet !
Thanks! You're doing well yourself with Doodly, Margaret.
Time consuming honestly. Nothing wrong in the method shown though, but would be glad if doodly includes scale, move and zoom animations
Totally agree. It takes time and repetition. Copy/paste was my friend for this!
@@JensterJohansson and I can add changing the scrne
@@akhileshbhise7266 Yes, changing the scene each time an asset "moves" works, but with a minimum of .5 seconds end-of-scene time, the effect looks more staccato. Using masks and setting the delay to .01 seconds gives a smoother look. But either works!
@@JensterJohansson yes, that works😀. May I know what do you use Doodly for?
So amazing, thank you 👍👍👍
Thank you too!
Jenster, I am so glad I have found your channel, you have some amazing videos (which i'm going thru slowly) i really appreciate if you have any more on animation using PP. Thank you so much for you for all the information you provide
Awesome, thank you!
mrsjay6118, I would be happy to show you a lot of tricks with PowerPoint and Doodly, or PowerPoint use in making videos. I apologize for responding so late after you sent your message.
Thank you This tutorial is amazing! I also using doodly on my channel.
Link it here...I'd like to see your work, and I'm sure many others would, too.
What is a mask?
A mask is an object that, when overlaid on another object, covers all or part of it. It is useful for blocking an unwanted part of an asset, or eliminating it completely. You can make masks in other programs (like Powerpoint, CorelDraw, Keynote, Photoshop, etc.), or even in Doodly using the snip (screen grab) feature on a blank or colored part of the canvas, then reimporting that snipped shape back into Doodly. In this tutorial, the Doodly assets that are inverted become the mask to cover the object we want to blink. The animation tutorial shows use of masks that were made in PP and Keynote. ruclips.net/video/OWHqMvI4ASY/видео.html
Wow great and unique tutorial. You deserve 1000sub and more

Really clever use of Doodly and Microsoft softwares. Please keep educating us
It makes me happy that you commented after watching, and encourages me to keep on creating. Thank you for your support.
@@JensterJohansson I think Doodly should employee you for the marketing done . I felt a little cheated after I bought it as what's included isn't enough to create what I saw but you have shown how combining it is good especially as Doodly has no spell checker but PowerPoint does. Thanks again
Hi, a general Q. I sometimes get jittery text or images. Any idea what would cause that? Other tex and images on the same screen can be fine. Weird
Hi, Leslie. That's a common problem. If it's jittery during a pan/zoom function, usually it's during a draw. Try to avoid drawing an asset while Doodly is panning/zooming. Many people have found that increasing the FPS (frames per second) rate during export helps with the jitters. As an experiment, increase to the max (60) and see if it changes anything. Or, as an inverse, reduce, if it's not all the way to the minimum.
@@JensterJohansson Thanks a lot

Do you know anything about how to add animation characters to Wondershare? I have a project and my finishing touch is to add a story character.
No, I'm sorry. There are several animation programs out there. The Doodly creators also have Toonly for animating characters. There are several other animation programs you can purchase, all of which will export an MP4 you can add into Wondershare, I think.
Bless you, I filled the project for now. I truly love your work.
Jenster, this is awesomely helpful content! Thank you!!!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for commenting.
Hi, Jenster I love your work could you show us an animation screenshot with stick figures,? I have a project I desire to research doing for Ideas?
Thank you so much for your kind comment. I'm not sure I understand your request about stick figures. Do you mean having a stick figure doing a movement like walking? It would be the same principles found in my Animating with Doodly tutorial found on this channel, particularly the part about the character walking across the screen. If you need further clarification, please respond. You'll find an example of a "stick figure" snowman in this fun holiday video: ruclips.net/video/vx8D4cCv2vk/видео.html

I have been looking for such clear and easy guide..... Other makers they assume we suppose to know in advance what they know. Big thanks to you😊
So nice of you to take the time to comment. I always hope that my "advanced" techniques will be useful to any level of Doodly user. You've given me confidence that this one is!
Thank you! I was looking forward to a way of adding animations to my doodley project. I'll give it a try.
Edgardo, if you make a determined effort, you can do so much more than the simple effects in the video. You can use an imported PNG as a background, or even a screen capture of a Doodly background as a mask, so you can animate objects without having to make a white square.
@@JensterJohansson I have already tried my animation and it worked perfectly well. Thanks a lot!
Awww. Nice. What do you mean the entire asset was covered 🤷🏾♀️
The entire scene - all cabinets, door, counters - every single asset, including the two children, were pasted in again after every ball position move. All were pasted in with no draw duration. In other words, every single asset became the mask that covered the ball in the previous position. I thought about just repeating the assets that were in the path of the ball, but that created a front/back issue that made just the repeated ones come to front. That didn't work because those elements would cover up ones that were supposed to show. The beginner's explanation of animating with masks is in my Doodly Animation Tutorial.
Thank you Jenster for your best ever presentation. I have subscribed and liked it.
Wow, thanks!
