I know what you mean. I had to hold in so many emotions, but I didn't cry until his retirement. He's the reason why I and so many others enjoy the game of football.
I have always been a huge fan of Peyton. So people think I was excited when he came to Denver because I live there. Unfortunately no as much as a Peyton fan I am I despise the broncos just as much. I will always be a Peyton fan and i will never be a broncos fan
If I only luck could have left in better light. Damn, could've retired at the beginning of off-season or several different ways but 2 weeks before season, and we find out in the middle of a game from Twitter. This could have been luck but no, he choose the boo route. Srry, I'ma colts fan for 23 yrs and I don't blame anyone who booed. Get mad at me if ya want but he is supposed to be professional and even though I know he owes no one anything he still could have showed his appreciation for the support of the loyal fans who bought his jerseys and cheered him on and waited for him through injuries. No matter what, out all of 2017 lotta press saying he won't be he same after or he may never return and still during that time if you would've asked a colts fans they would've of said your crazy. That motherfucker will be back and be as good if not better. No matter if he owed fans anything or not you would think you could have appreciated them as much as they did you. Oh well, he will never get to do this, Peyton will always be a legend on that field, but luck will always be a dispute amoungst fans. To bad, could have been one of the greatest in the hall.
One of the most beautiful moments in recent sports history. One of the greatest players of all time returning to the stadium that his legendary performances helped to create.
The sound is bad on this video. I went to the game and I can tell you that you couldn't even hear the people next to you. The place absolutely exploded when he took the field. That day I saw history made. First class fans for a first class player. He even comes off the sidelines to thank everyone. I think the sign hung up says it all....welcome to the house peyton built. Glad to see him go out on top with dignity.
DryAssChicken What are you talking about? He was the most famous person in Indiana for 12-13 years. You are complete asinine to say he will always be a Bronco.
Albus Luck- I respect your comment... I was just voicing my opinion about something involving a player that is the greatest to ever play and a hero of mine. You have the right to your opinion just like I have a right to mine! You are a Colts fan, good for you I can respect that...but don't disrespect me because I could not pull anymore for a team owned by Mr. Irsay. It did work out for Peyton you are absolutely right about that but also you don't know he could have gone on to win 2 more Superbowls and got to retire with the team he began his career with. Andrew Luck is a good quarterback but imagine the knowledge and know how he would have gained getting to learn behind Peyton Manning! I mean he is good but hasn't really done anything since his Rookie season. No disrespect to him at all I think he is a good quarterback and seems to be a genuinely nice guy. Again like I always say everything happens for a reason! Again I was just voicing my opinion so I would take it kindly if you would not disrespect mine just like I have not disrespected yours!
I cried when he returned to Indy! It was an emotional time for him by the fact that that was the house Peyton Manning built. Jim Irsay can thank Peyton Manning for having the stadium that is home to the Colts now. My entire family and I were die hard Colts fans until 2012 when they traded Peyton to the Broncos because of him missing an entire year due to having 4 neck surgeries and not wanting to pay him what they owed him. That man played for that organization for 14 years took them to 2 Superbowls and countless playoffs and that was the respect and thanks he received. If Mr. Irsay had any respect for The Sheriff he would have given him a chance to prove himself; I believe he had earned at least that. Just imagine how much greater a quarterback Andrew Luck would be had he gotten to learn behind Peyton manning for 4 years! I'm now a Broncos Fan thanks to Peyton Manning and Jim Irsay. Brock Oweiler would probably have never gotten the deal from the Texans had he not gotten the opportunity to learn behind the GOAT. I always say everything happens for a reason. However Lucas Oil Stadium should be renamed to Peyton Manning Field in honor of what that man did for that organization! No one is or will probably ever be as great a quarterback, respectful a person, and genuine legend of the game as #18 Peyton "The Sheriff" "GOAT" Manning! You will be missed and have seriously changed the game forever!
Lakota Waters what Irsay and our franchise did was the best decision for Peyton ... In 2010 before his neck surgeries we went 10-6 and had injury prone players ... Then in 2011 we go 2-14...back into the first overall pick who happens to be Andrew Luck ... You're not positive Peyton can even play and even if he can you think he's only got 4 or 5 years left ... Why not let Peyton get out now because that team was not a super bowl contender even with a Peyton healthy ...we let Peyton walk and have another chance to win a super bowl and draft Andrew Luck and rebuild.... Then luck came in and won right away ... Peyton won another super bowl .., colts just resigned luck for 6 years ... In all honesty it worked out perfect ... Go root for the Broncos real colts fans don't need you cuz we made the right decision
Lakota Waters I deleted the comment. I was hoping that wasn't sent to you. I was not going to send that to you. Because, there's a little thing called, having a choice. And, I realize that, it is none of my business, of who or what individual is a fan of. I'm sorry, for sending that to you. It was a poor choice of words. But, I will say this, I respect your opinion about how, Irsay handled the Manning release. To a certain degree, I would agree. But, we had to do what's best for the franchise. We did not know, if Peyton would ever be the same again. We had to think about the future of this franchise. I love Peyton too, and he always be one of the greatest. Maybe, the greatest. But, we did make the right decision. But, I think we could have signed him, for one year. And, let Luck learn from Manning. Just like, Rodgers learned from Farve. I do agree with the Irsay, could have handled it better. I respect your decision, to be a fan of another team. If that's how you feel, about Irsay, and how they handled the release.. so be it. If you want to be a fan of another team, go right ahead. That's your pejorative. But, again, the organization made the right decision. But, that is my opinion. And, again as a loyal Colts, Pacers, IU basketball, and football fan.. I am deeply sorry you had to see that comment. I had that deleted after I sent it. So, just disregard that comment.
Coltsfan1987 1987 I appreciate your last comment and I have deleted my last as well. I do respect your opinion and totally respect what you just said! I really appreciate that! I know everything that they wound up doing worked out just like everything was supposed to. Everything happens for a reason...It was the best decision for my family to do what we did deciding not to become Colts fans anymore. It was the decision that we made at that time and one we have decided to hold true to. I realize what I said originally is an opinion I should have kept to myself and not one that I should have put out there for everyone to read. What I said while my opinion isn't something that I should have stated on this video. That video was a beautiful moment for Colts and Broncos fans alike! Love or hate that man you do have to respect him and everything he did for the game! So I would like to apologize to anyone who read my original post and felt offended by it I do apologize! I never meant to offend anyone Colts fans especially! I respect everyone's right to be a fan of who they like and it is not my place to judge that! Again thank you for your last post!
Lakota Waters No problem. I respect your decision. To be a fan, of another team. He was a very amazing individual. He did a lot for your city, and he helped this franchise from moving to LA. If it wasn't for Peyton Manning, we would be the Los Angeles Colts. Luckily, that did not happen. I thank him what he has done, for this state. And, what he has done for this franchise. I always knew Peyton would be the guy, to take this team to the next level. When, people were doubting this team, in the early 2000's, saying that we would never win anything. I said, he would be a future super bowl champion. I never gave up on this team, always knew he would would win one. My email address has number 18, in it. 1998 draft, I said to pick Peyton Manning, over Ryan Leaf. I said, back when I was young, this guy is going to be good. I seen him play for Tennessee, this guy can go. I was eleven at that time. Well, in closing I respect your decision, of being a fan of another team. You have a good night, go Colts! Win, lose, or tie!
I remember telling my dad and my brother what if the Colts gave up Peyton Manning and Denver Broncos picked him up and we won a super bowl my dad and my brother were like that never happen a year later the Colts let him go the Broncos picked him up and we won a super bowl
I'm not a very emotional person, and this makes me tear up so much. What a beautiful sign of loyalty and respect for Manning by the entire Colts fanbase. :')
Tar heels 215 one year he got smashed in the super bowl and the other one he was in his last season ... He wouldn't of got to the super bowl with our team .., we have luck for the next decade and Peyton is retired ... Shut the fuck up
I liked the colts when I was little because of the horseshoe but I always liked peyton and now I am and will stay a broncos fan :-) #sherrif #orangeandblue #vonmilleriseverywhere
Crazy how the regular season went, but the clock hasn't struck 12 just yet. This is the start of the final chapter of his storybook ending. Go Broncos! #UnitedInOrange #TimeToRide #KickingAndScreaming
+Roy Stull lol you should totally check your facts. not that i dont love peyton or anything, but he totally stuck his naked ass in a female trainers face while she was checking his foot, it was just before anyone considered this kinda thing a big deal
+SynsityGW that female trainer has also accused others for doing the same. She was phone interviewed once and the interviewer called her crazy. She lied
I really was indifferent to the Colts, even though living in Indiana my entire life I grew up being a Bengals fan. That changed shortly after Peyton joined the Colts. Now that he is gone from Indy I am once again indifferent with the Colts, and more of a Broncos fan now, until Peyton retires at least.
I remember this game so well. My mom was rooting for Peyton and my dad was pissed the whole time 😂😂😂
Lol I'm here because I remember my Dad crying while seeing this 9 years ago. He's not even a Colts or Broncos fan.
This was the most emotional moment of my childhood.
came here after seeing Seattle Boo Russel Wilson, they should've ran da ball man
I know what you mean. I had to hold in so many emotions, but I didn't cry until his retirement. He's the reason why I and so many others enjoy the game of football.
This man is the only reason indy got Lucas oil...this man is the only reason indy got the super bowl....
Peytons return>Brady’s return
I think they're both equal.
I think Brady will get the same response when he comes back to Foxborough.
Oh, you bet!
Lol nope!
I have always been a huge fan of Peyton. So people think I was excited when he came to Denver because I live there. Unfortunately no as much as a Peyton fan I am I despise the broncos just as much. I will always be a Peyton fan and i will never be a broncos fan
That Sign "Welcome to the house PEYTON built" oh so true and so sad too see.....
Notice Manning was in the middle of the team entering the field out of the tunnel It’s a sign of a winner that made him special
Even if your not a colts fan, I think most people (not in the same division I would imagine) were rootin for Manning. Hard not to
Such a humble guy. Love him
And this is why we needed to win SB50 with Manning, not Osweiler.
That’ll always be my quarterback

He is a Colt tho first and foremost
@@joshclark9196 that's why he retired a bronco huh lol.
No he didn't he retired a Colt
One of the most beautiful moments in recent sports history. One of the greatest players of all time returning to the stadium that his legendary performances helped to create.
Colt fans boo him like if he had a choice to leave the colts , some people just don't know football
Rafael Herrejon Lopez no one booed him
Like Al Michaels said "There's no man in the building right now, that doesn't get erected without looking at the man that we just saw."

Indy still did him dirty..
if anybody argues with you that Peyton isnt one of the GOATs just show them this video
Fools Peyton Manning will always be remembered as a Bronco. But holy shit it's been 4 years already!!!!????

I have no doubt Brady would get the same from you guys in the same scenario.

Brady's not that kind of guy. He's been a Patriot for so long that he wouldn't leave the team unless Robert Kraft elects not to re-sign him.
