I personally think Bronya and Sparkle don't work well with auto because in my experience they never target who you want them to, sometimes doing something stupid and advancing somebody that doesn't do damage or wasting their skill on themselves

Y'know, the events of ARR through Endwalker take something like one year in total to complete. But the WoL seems to be aging in the cinematics. Honestly, I think more time should be allowed to pass to get a feel for how the world changes and grows over time, but I guess they don't want to age up the twins...

The biology and ecology aspects of this show utterly blindsided me. I went in knowing nothing and ended up getting a a absolute but load of fantasy and biology to dive headfirst into. Also laios being autistic and surrounded by his special interest wich has a 90% overlap with MY special intrest is a joy.

Do not sell armory chest in expert delivery, (at least dont get used to it) you should always have that tab hiding armory chest items since theres no way to lock gear from being traded. You will accidentally trade gear that is weekly restricted and hate the advise he gave you. Thank me later

Honestly, there is nothing more red flag to me than hating Hildebrand quests.

hildebrand is more like the worst content we are forced to do......

For #2: Retainers can be any class/job except for Disciples of Hand (crafters) and limited jobs (Blue Mage, and soon-to-release Beastmaster). The Blacksmith isn't actually an option, but everything shown on screen and otherwise included in the voiceover is accurate. Some more info on what retainer jobs you might want to get: * Miner - Can do Mining ventures, which get anything that you have already gathered as a miner, as long as the retainer's gathering and perception scores are high enough from gear to meet the requirements. * Botanist - Can do Botany ventures, which get anything that you have already gathered as a botanist, with the same score requirements. * Fisher - Can do Fishing ventures, which get many that you have already caught as a fisher, with the same score requirements. Not all fish can be obtained through Fishing ventures, but pretty much all of the ones that are useful for quests and crafting are available. * Any non-gatherer job (i.e. all of the combat jobs) - Can do Hunting ventures, which get most of the normal drops from overworld monsters, like animal hides, fangs, blood, etc. The retainer's gear must meet the item level requirements for the job. Also some other crafting items that aren't gathered. Notably, all of these combat jobs can get the same items from Hunting ventures. Additionally, all retainers can be sent on Quick Ventures once they hit level 10. This will have the retainer get you something at random. It might be some neat weapon or gear, a crafting material, or housing decorations. There are also some unique items that can only be obtained this way.

I have never felt more nakedly betrayed by this game than locking the EW relics behind Hildy, and then making them the most uninteresting grind yet.

Thank you for doing this. I've recently come back to the game from a 7 year break. My eyes aren't as good as they used to be and it's really hard to read the dialog boxes on the cut scenes.

This video explains exactly why i love, love, LOVE dungeon meshi compared to any other fantasy media rn. I am also a spec zoology and paleo nerd, general animal lover, so seeing a fantasy show explain monsters in a technical sense rather than explaining them away as demons from another realm or some advance magic sorcery shit-- just like mentioned in the video, they aren't just obstacles to get over, the mosnters and fauna are part of the dungeon, part of the world of dungeon meshi. No hate on anyone who does likes frienren and whatnot, i see the appeal and i have watched like 10+ episodes before dropping it, but it honestly just made me really bored. I like character driven stories, and the generally slow pacing it has to make us soak up all the scenes and dialogue as well, but the world of frienren felt really lacking and just forgettable to me. When i first saw the solar dragon, i was excited to see maybe some sun or fire related dragon stuff, but was met with a weirdly anatomically structured dragon who was just another obstacle. Every time frienren is maybe shown researching or doing her potion hunts, i wish it explained a little more about how frienren operates and does stuff, i want to see her knowledge outside of being op in combat. I do like their magic system somewhat, refreshing to see new magic be added and not old magic needing to be rediscovered by the main cast to defeat the big bad. TLDR, Id wish more fantasy media was a little more into the biology, botany and zoology of the world theyre making instead of being so so heavily focused on the race wars they have between elves and orcs
