I did my own instrumental of vision eyes while trying to preserve the quality... Hope you guys enjoy!
Muy buen video gracias 👍
Sadly we lost a lot of Masters in WW2 but at least Oyama-Sensei survive in WW2 and create the beautiful Karate Kyokushin.
2:30 that was pretty unrealistic 😅
I love traditional karate that qualify you to encounter different senarios,a real life technique.I have started doing karate at 67,Do you imagine?
I am a second degree Black Belt in Shotokan Karate and I still have no idea how to do what some of these guys are doing.
I’ll say it again. It’s never the art in the man. It’s always the man in the Art.
Funny seeing a young Kanazawa attacking with a gun and stick
Prachtige documentaire
About 3:25 where they're barely creeping along the ground with tiny foot movements of the toe and heel without taking a step... that's some subtle, but very cool footwork!
Karatê tradicional Forevore OSS!!!👊👊👊💪🥋
This sounds pretty good
when was this filmed?
I watched the chance from martial art to sport and that's sad.
Eezy gang !! 🤭
the anti gun techniques are suicide
It looks efficient.
Viva lo shotokan ❤️❤️
That was impressive even by today's standards. What a great display of technique and control.
It's just a demonstration.. but I wonder how much they are quick & fast at real fight
EUGHHHHH
Just like the Kung Fu I taught for40 years but more rigid.
Video shooting date
To all the people talking bad about shotokan, in www.youtube.com/@KarateCombat it seems like most of the wins are by shotkan guys
Super, toll, vielen Dank🤩
Its so intresting,to see unsu-bunkai,performed by SHIHAN Nakayama...or SHIHAN Nishiyama in action.rare pictures.thank you.
Steven Seagal does this chair sitting karate in all of his new crappy movies...how eird.
Today's karate was influenced by Taekwondo and added techniques such as spinning kicks.
Muito lindo o karate shotokan 👊🏼 oss
Karate in it'd intended use is absolutely effective and very deadly. It was developed over centuries of combat techniques
A fegyveres támadás a valóságban azért másképp zajlik. A támadó nem fog várni ellen blokkolásra, hanem lőni fog
Shotokan is best and hard style modern karate..❤️❤️❤️
In the gun techniques, you have to be fast as hell
Gun gun gun gun, look like you hate close combat
@@kerryvanskonsol792lol no, I love it
👍👍👍
For a martial art that competively banned elbows. There are a lot of elbows.
2:22 Left out the part where he gets shot.
Demonstrations are well and good. Put ‘em in the ring with a trained fighter and watch them piss themselves.
Each move of the "attacker" is not followed up to allow the opponent gain the advantage. This is not real. In MMA fight, the striker will not hold back so that you can show how you follow though your strike. He will keep attacking. That's why their fake fights are unrealistic.
This was made before the time mma even existed or was popularized and back in these days it was either same style fights or stylistic match ups and yes I agree that the opponent isn't gonna wait for you to follow up and of course I cannot speak for everyone during those days but I'm sure fighting could've been different in those days
Your comment mostly unintelligible like everything you talk it was right, meh you want deadly fight, go underground mma which mean you fight until die
hmm looks surprisingly as useful as modern karate
Green belt test, 1974, Japanese cultural center in Los Angeles, Nishyama was the main evaluator, didn't understand half of what he said, but we respected the heck out of him.
Did they simply not understand that pivoting imbues the power of the earth into your core, your shoulders, and thus your strikes? They are always flat footed with their strikes. In western striking disciplines, we drill this pivot, rotation. It's where all of the power comes from. We do it even when striking the air.
I've torn circular wounds into the ball of my foot from striking with extreme snappiness while shadowboxing on concrete. I'd injure my ligaments if my heels were planted and i could not pivot
I have to assume these forms were just so they could have muscle memory for counters against first attacks, but that they had an understanding that they would have to strike differently in order to get real power. I'm a kickboxer and I see huge potential in just these forms I've seen in the first minute. Genuinely good counters to those attacks, but you would truly have to go Mike Tyson when you're throwing those strikes. I assume the goal is to end the fight with one combo. I see them targeting the liver a lot
I think the show shit is stupid, but these forms would shine if applied properly. No wonder wonderboy is so good
I think a mixed style is simply unbeatable. If you have influence from American and Dutch kickboxing, boxing, karate, Muay Thai, wrestling, and BJJ, along with weapon training for melee weapons and firearms, you would essentially be unbeatable.
Oh and taekwondo, good spinning kicks
bullshido in action
1:50 he didn’t even check if the person behind him was attacker. He just knew...
