Around the 15 mins mark it looked like there were some horrible close passes and several times at the lights you put yourself marginally in front of vehicles that were obviously going to do it. Makes me anxious

There are some obnoxiously bad drivers out there. It's always the same makes of car as well. I wonder if it's the same make of driver.

Why is there no bike lane 1 km of bike roads the other 20km is bus roads😂

14:47 this cycle lane looks very narrow, too narrow. 15:45 yeah, MI6 :) I remember using Vouxhall train station when travelling from school back home to Isleworth (Syon Lane train station was the destination for me) and the MI6 building was visible from the platforms and/or from the train when leaving the station. Those were good times when travelling by train and underground. 38:04 wow, this looks stunning!

Noticed a CS or two last time I was in London; nice to see them in full use. As you can imagine, Glasgow's equivalent is *much* less used. I don't travel at rush-hour and it's rare to have anyone else waiting at the junctions with me. It did look quite chaotic at points, especially when mixing with pedestrians, and lack of traffic light discipline. Thanks for posting.

It takes some bravery or insanity to ride on some of London's streets. The lady cyclist at 0:55 has some balls on her. You've got to grant her that.

11:52 Hey, a Dutch city bike. Those bikes are rare in the UK. At least I did not see them in 2016, when I visited London.

I enjoyed to ride along. The middle part was somewhat stressful with the thick traffic and the noise it creates, but the first and last parts felt like an easy ride across town on a Sunday afternoon.

Your cycling is poor - closely overtaking other cyclists, weaving through traffic carelessly and jumping red lights.

man, out in the midwest, I can easily attain 18-22mph averages throughout my morning commute ride on open roads. I like that bikes have places to go here, but ironically it's way too small. The one time adding more lanes would actually help lol. The bike lane (bi-directional) should be about 4-4.5 meters wide, it looks to be about 3-3.5 meters wide in most places.

Oh gosh this route brought back soo many memories! Some good, some not so good. Going through Canary Wharf through to East London sure has changed. Was this filmed recently? Sure does resemble our July 2022 heatwave! One day, I will have the confidence to cycle such journeys. I found the Kamoot app for London does help, albeit it needs some tweaking for road cycling, given local knowledge. Much appreciated for sharing all the way from West London 🙌🏽👌🏽

The path you chose was extraordinarily enjoyable to see and the play of shadows created by buildings and the early morning sun (I'm assuming early morning) adds visually distinctive dimension to the video. Stay cool! As nearly everywhere in the northern hemisphere, it's been an extremely hot summer in New Orleans, so my riding has been restricted mostly to short rides in the morning or evening. Yesterday the weather allowed for a long ride throughout the city with a break for a snowball at my favorite place on Esplanade Ave.

I see the difference between cycling in Netherlands and London. IN Amsterdam they ride much slower with city bikes, while London is mostly rode bikes with faster travel speed.

The architecture of the city is truly remarkable, not a lot of modern buildings, incredibly beautiful buildings, was particularly enamored by the Bank of England, Sir Roger Scruton would be proud, very classic outlook in the fabric of the city, from the buildings, to telephone stands, to waste bins, and cabs, it's glad to see this level of cultural preservation, overall an A plus city design and cultural maintenance.
