we had a flood i remember it never got to our house but was so close i remember staying home from school freaking out wondering if we had to go to the shelter. i was 15yrs old. this album when the storm comes down was playing all night in my headphones and walkman while playing my atari 800xl computer. ready to move it at a moments notice. my parents worried sister crying scared. very important album for me.
They sort of became a studio band after this time, wish they would of played live more often
This bass player was their best.

I’d put them 4th. I love Anthrax but these guys are way better. Just not nearly as well known.

Dude, this guy was one HELL of a vocalist!! Probably still is, of course, but as we get older, our vocals tend to wane over the years.. NO PLACE FOR DISGRACE, that's the BEST FLOTSAM & JETSAM ALBUM OF ALL TIME!!
He’s still the best in the game for my money. His voice has definitely aged a bit but he’s still way better than whoever is the next guy. Check out some of the newer stuff starting with The Cold and go forward. Most underrated band of all time.
@@machinehead3413 Bro! They're legit! Have you heard the newest single, I Am The Weapon? Pretty good stuff, and their musical inclination just grows and grows. I actually just bought a few of their newest albums. I LOVE THESE GUYS! Flotsam & Jetsam and Death Angel JAM! SODOM IS KING OF THRASH! I will say this: they NEVER SHOULD HAVE TOUCHED NO PLACE FOR DISGRACE.. They re recorded it and it ain't the same, they slowed it down a half step, etc... I hate that remake. Besides that, I love F&J!
I have. Played it on repeat for over an hour the day it came out. Mindblowing that a band that has been around for almost 40 years is doing their best work this late in their career. Just got the logo tattooed on my forearm in February.
@@machinehead3413 NPFD Is just a MASTERPIECE in its own right! I will never forget, first stuff I ever heard from F&J was from... No Place For Disgrace.. I have loved them since then, way even more so now! Flotsam & Jetsam literally have nothing but solid albums! I think all but TWO are GREAT albums. You're right, it a mind-blowing greatness that has been bestowed upon us! I REALLY have been digging F&J, Death Angel, Raven, Sodom, High On Fire. All of these bands have had GREAT albums last several years!

I had no idea there was a video for this song.
I've been a fan of this band since I was 14. In an Atlanta convenience store, I found a tape of When the Storm Comes Down. The cover art really caught my attention. They were among my first favorite metal bands, and I've never discovered another musical style that I adore as much as metal. I'm 46 years old now, and I still enjoy Flotsam & Jetsam.

Saw them on this tour with Prong. Eric A.K. had throat problems so Tommy Victor sang his set. A bummer and killer at the same time.
