Unexpected 932 mile 4M (70mhz) FM contact!.... S51DI in SLOVENIA!
Just left my local pool after a swim session and switched on to see if my pal up the road was listening! What a shock as heard this station, like he was sat next to me! no trickery, 25W FM from an old PMR radio, into a quarter wave whip on the car.... *edit* had chance to get on Google earth.. 932 Miles! WOW!

  • @arthurcator5246
    @arthurcator5246 2 года назад

    Well mate, I'm doing the rear bushes on my Astra H, I've ordered the tool, but with wanting to replace the rear bearings and calipers, I decided to totally remove the axle. A hell of a lot easier to do with the axle removed obviously considering the time you have to hack and bash the old bushes out. When putting the axle back, I reversed the through bolt which holds the bush to carrier. With not tightening this bolt fully helps you to put the springs in place a lot easier, jack up the car till you get it roughly to road height, tighten the bolt, then you can attach the rear shock. What do you think. Job took about the same time as bashing it while axle was in place. It also allows you to tidy up and paint while off, if that's what you want to do.

They just ruin everything. I doubt they have the intellectual capacity to understand the consequences of their actions. Has anybody reported him to OFCOM? This isn't prison so don't start with the 'GRASS' nonsense.

    I've replaced the rear axle bushes out on my vw corrado which are very similar in design to this. Just like on your zafira the inner metal piece fell out. This made it very easy to put a hacksaw through the inside of the bush (take blade off put it through bush then put back on) and make a couple of cuts through the rubber and outer part of the bush. I believe it is only aluminium, so very easy to cut. This relieves the pressure and makes knocking the bush out very easy, especially with an SDS drill like yours ;) Thanks for the video, going to have to do this on my wife's zafira soon.

    lets all look at this video for what it is, a recording, (recording) of what seems to be of some one behaving inappropriately over the airwaves, as i see it there's nothing to back it up, no call signs within the conversation within the recording , it could be a sound track from anywhere, although i do believe it to be genuine recording, recorded at the time of the transmission there is absolutely no evidence that gentleman named in this video was involved. no call signs from any operator that could backup this recording, very entertaining. I'm not defending anyone. This is a very prevalent problem in my area, I just switch off or move on.
