When you visit Shanghai next time, I recommend exploring the riverside area in Pudong, near the Oriental Pearl Tower. It's a lovely spot-walk from Dongchang Road Metro Station to the riverside. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the photo opportunities are fantastic! The area is usually quiet with few tourists, and you can capture beautiful shots of the historic buildings across the river. Another excellent place to visit is the North Bund.

The night view of Chongqing is more like Night City from the game Cyberpunk 2077, it's a completely different style from Shanghai.

as a traveler, you have to remain humble about how things might work out. you can't expect without a host or a guide to get through places seamlessly. This is the other side of the coin when you try to do things independently.

I am a Chinese and I love your arts! I've been to NZ 20 years ago after I watched The lord of the rings. I highly recommend you to visit YUN NAN Province ( Kun ming, Li jiang, Da li, Shangri-la……), it's like Switzerland combined with traditional ethnic China. Or you can explore explore small Chinese towns along the Yangtze River.

still quite a typical western perspective, despite crisp, well balanced contrast, etc. etc. technical details which i have no idea of. but not a single picture of young people or couples? why that person with such a gummy smile? find someone with more pointing nose, more prominent eyelid creases, more contoured side face profile then, they are still all Chinese, right? i think that's the fact we lack in 2024, otherwise same old, 又要过年包饺子了。😂 yes, that's right, i lack confidence and it's pathetic, i've heard it already from some typical comments online yet to be posted, whatever.

Well, i can't think of another mega city in the WORLD that has this much greenery in the downtown core. But actually, Hangzhou, another metropolis to the southeast of Shanghai, is even greener.

I lived in Shanghai for almost 8 years, I miss this city so much ❤ China is definitely an underrated country, so much history, nature, and different landscapes and types of cuisine. I think everyone should visit at least once 😊
