Al;l the images look good on my dell ultrasharp, except the very first grey gradient image - which has distinct bands in it, not smooth like the others.

Did you ever find the cause for this issue? I've been struggling with the same issue, and it turned out that the software Magnet I used to manage the position of my windows (split-screen, left/right/top/bottom window, etc) was the cause of the lag. If I set Magnet to "Ignore" Adobe Illustrator and other Adobe software, my lag seems to disappear.

Thanks so much for this! I missed the livestream, but am looking forward to digging in and learning about Zebra2. I've only gotten through a few presets and tweaking them a bit, but I can already tell this is an incredibly powerful synth which can get pretty complex. It's hard to believe that it was first released 15 years ago, although I'm sure plenty of features and functionality have been added over that time to get where it is today. I suspect there will be many new Zebra2 owners in the near future now that it has been packaged in the Zebra Legacy deal at a major discount. I snagged it just before that in order to retain the inexpensive upgrade path to Zebra3, whenever that does come out.

You can turn on and off the retrigger settings. When powering on the D, flip the A-440 tune switch on and off again real quick and that switches on and off legato. It's in the manual but easy to miss. I believe when the light blinks fast after you flip the switch, then that means retrigger is on.

Pretty sure this is how all mono synths work. In fact I’m on here trying to figure out why it IS retriggering the envelope when I’m holding one note and playing others. It isn’t supposed to!

I am getting exactly the same problem with my SP4, less than a year old. Becomes worse when I watch videos, both downloaded and online. I also get a ghost image of a previously viewed page/video scene that will remain on my screen for hours, sometimes almost completely blocking out the viewing of the window/video I am trying to view. As I write this I have an image ghosting over of a picture I had viewed online about a half hour ago. I have been working with MS support online for about a month with no improvement.

No tuve tiempo del directo. Pero mientras escribo le estoy dando la cuarta vuelta. Como dice Jose Luis, es es un excelente ejercicio. Hay una parte que evidencia la visión antropocéntrica: Las abejas por ejemplo y el resultado 'arquitectonico' de sus construcciones. Las celdas son, de origen, por ejemplo cilíndricas (los hexágonos característicos se forman en función de como se van compactando unas con otras las células) y de modo silvestre se desarrollan según el sustrato disponible... Etc. Así las máquinas potencialmente conscientes... Su desempeño de consciencia estará en función de su bienestar y supervivencia mas allá de cumplir o no las leyes robóticas propuestas por Asimov que sugiere mi tocayo. Algo de esto es tocado por Jack Williamson en su novela "Los Humanoides" así mismo la capacidad que el humano podría desarrollar a partir del inminente remplazo del humano en tareas de abasto y subsistencia de la especie. La novela plantea humanos evolucionados en facultades paranormales (telepatia, telequinesis, teletransportacion, etc) luchando contra maquinas que perfectamente remplazan al humano en tareas de trabajo para que al final... No hare spoiler porque corro el riesgo de ser inducido a "la vacuna contra la inmediatez' (broma) Si bien es cierto que las maquinas tengan su propia consciencia y una consciencia del planeta tal que nos exterminen contemplando en nosotros una plaga, pueden llegar a colaborar con quienes no vivimos en la inmediatez a dar el salto a la población hacia la moralidad. Ahora todo lo vemos en relación a nuestras capacidades y limitantes. Nos concebimos a nosotros mismos como materiales y efímeros. Pero la ciencia nos describe a la vez como energéticos y eternos (Permitanme yuxtaponer Einstein con Laplace) y tal vez el máximo grado de consciencia sea el volvernos energía como sugiere Asimov en Recuerdo perdido'... Etc. Juego con mi precaria consciencia, mi pensamiento mágico y los temas que han dejado sobre la mesa. Espero que todos cuantos vean este video sean convidados como yo a ejercicios parecidos. Espero ya la siguiente emisión y poder participar en alguna ocasión.

Independientemente de la conclusión de lo que es (o no es) la conciencia, el hecho de al menos tratar de analizarla ya es un ejercico importante y que tal vez como el vuelo de nuestros aviones, algún día sea algo bien conocido y familiar. Ojalá llegue a muchos lugares esta inquietud. Buen trabajo!
