This channel is dedicicated to covering the Opioid Crisis and methods and techniques to help end the addiction. I felt that most of the information on the web had a tendency to demonize those unfortunate enough to be addicted. We can either demonize or help people addicted to opioids, not both. I want to present accurate information that will help people understand how opioids work, and then how to use that information to stop.
I want feedback from everyone to make these videos as helpful and informative as possible. New videos will be uploaded and given several months for comments. After the comment period, I will review the information, make changes to the video to take the suggestions into account, and then upload the updated version.
This information is based on my personal experience dealing with chronic pain. I was in a serious car accident 7 years ago that caused debilitating pain. I was able to successfully wean myself off of 75 mcg/hr Fentanyl patches.

This is a great video, these comments make me lose faith in humanity tho
quit now.if you old, your body not strong enough when you older..if u a man you cn do cold turkey at home, better than in jail.
Belbuca has been heck to get off of. I had no idea what it was when my dr put me on it for chronic pain.I would have never touched it . Belbuca has ruined my teeth and health.
Hard to do step down 👇 when street drugs are not accurate on the mg. ⚖️ Scale.
💯. Get on methadone or prescriptions to ensure a proper dose..I've been in this spot. Not only is some stuff stronger than others, but there's also benzodiazepines and other crap in the dope. This becomes a real problem Get on something else and taper down
VERY IMPORTANT TO READ FOR ANYONE GPING THROUGH ROUGH TIMES. Just started watching and alread know its not gonna be mentioned in the video. ... One can ELIMINATE most of withdrawals or even ll of them in less than 7h. First you MUST BE CLEAN for at least 2-4 days from opioids, 5-7 days if using longer duration opioids like metadone. ★There is a OTC drug called DXM or Dextromethorphan HBr salt which is mostly used to prevent coughing some use it recreationaly but i highly advise against such use even tho its not directly toxic. It usilually comes at 30mg doses ... Its psychoactive effects start from 120mg and above, lasting from 5-8h depending on a dose. I would recomand two sessions one with 420mg and other at 360mg two days after. Dxm is a NMDA receptor antagonist, so its core effect is dissociation which becomes psychedelic in nature at doses 400-450mg and above (visuals starts at 450 for most people). It takes 1-2h for the effects to manifest, during which u must lie or sit down and not trying to walk. its almost impossible and there is a VERY high chance u can fall and injure yourself. As drug takes aaffects, one should already feel opioid withdrawals to fade. Pharma knows this as there are already sci. papers out in 90s and 00s but becouse of financial interests it has decided to estinguish folire with fire using longer lasting opioid - metadone. You can thank me later. ✌️ You can thank me later There has to be no ephedrine or paracetamol (tylenol) present in tablets, some even have both of them. So only DXM Hbr and obviously fillers. Just started watching and can already tell, you not gonna mention this life changing info. With which i saved my friends life with 2 doses, a friend that was addicted to h for almost 4 years. There are substances that have an ability to reduce or eliminate tolerance to both opioid and dopaminergic receptors (D1 and D2

This is why I don’t do my opioids every single day I give myself two or three days to give to let my body get the opiates out of my system and then I’ll do it again. Yes, the pain is unbearable for those two or three days, but I would rather not be dependent on them because one day I feel like I won’t need them.
Will you make a video on methadone
Vivitrol was my saving grace! Suboxone was very helpful during detox and Vivitrol just blocks craving it's a form of MAT that doesn't keep you dependent
This works tried it few times
Watching this in 2024 as part of a program with #CDICollegeWESTCampus in Edmonton studying addictions and community support
If you really have a problem with drugs, this will not work. CT is the only way.
This is the best video I’ve found to understand what is happening in my body. Thank you for talking slowly because it helps to follow along with all the new information. I’m not sure how a video from seven years ago showed up for me now but I’m grateful for it! Maybe someone up above is helping out ❤
THANK YOU for making this
can u tell how much methodone [ml] should be taken for for withrawal
❤great tips ty!!!!!
Problem is Initial condition is still present that made me take tramadol. Can't win no matter what.
I started doing drugs since my teenage, got addicted to opioid. Opioid addiction actually destroyed my life. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder, got diagnosed with OCD. Not until my mom recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 4 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.
Amen God bless people. Save your health save your mind. Life is better without heroin, opioid, alcohol and cigarettes. And you have more money in your pocket. God bless everyone who has rejected the devils intentions to be addicted to alcohol and cigarettes etc which can cause so much damage to health.
Hey mates! Can you help with the source? I suffer severe anxiety, panic and depression and I usually take prescription medicine, but they don't always help. Where can I find those psilocybin mushrooms? I'm really interested in treating my mental health without Rxs. I live in Australia don't know much about these. I'm so glad they helped you. I can't wait to get them too. Really need a reliable source 🙏
YES very sure of Dr.alishrooms. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD and addiction and Mushrooms definitely made a huge huge difference to why am clean today.
Congrats! I'm really happy for you that your mom decided to help you. I always admire those who beat their addiction. Knowing it's possible to fix your life knowing there's people out there that have done what I thought was impossible gives me hope I will make it through as well. Those who share their experiences don't know how much it helps when you're about to give up, it gives you the strength knowing somone who actully know what it's like to go through this tell you it's possible, it's not the same somone telling you you can do it when they have no idea what it's like, but hearing somone who knows what it's like that helps a lot since you understand it firsthand and made it out gives so much hope. so thanks for sharing.
How do I reach out to him? Is he on insta
As I can see only a few could quit these drugs entirely. .or else one will keep on relapsed sooner or later after their detoxing periods. .I mean this could be years after their last doses..but still..I could say this is a lifetimes struggle for every addict person. .
It's important to me as an addict to feel like i've acually taken something, thus metadhone works really, really well. I don't say I nod out, but I really feel a small effect in my body and mind in the long term, which is enouge to keep me from taking something else.
Has anyone tried this with methadone? Months ago i tried to do a similar process, but I think it needs more time than a week to get used to the new dose. Probably the key is divide the dose in 4, it should help to avoid feeling any withdrawal symptom. Also having someone else to talk to should help a lot.
Good luck to everyone trying this technique. The issue I see here is the varying quality of your supply. Even just the psychological aspect of not being sure the fear you have this week is the same as last week is enough to make u trick urself into smoking it up
I think your confused with addiction and physical dependency . Anyone can do a taper that's easy. Maybe you should come up with some videos for alcoholics . An easy step down from a few few pints a day till you get to a shot. Easy peacy.
IBOGAINE .... THE ANSWER
Can you help recommend any other less harmful drugs to kill the severe pain that the opioids are being used for in the 1st place. The opioids are already being used in conjunction with 3 additional painkillers and anti infammitary drugs to help eleviate severe long term chronic pain. The condition is incurable.
Important: using a pill cutter, even on a “scored” pill does Not guarantee that the medication is evenly dispersed by half. It is possible that one of the halves has 1/4 of medicine & the other half has 3/4. The Only way you KNOW what you are getting is to have the formulation of the dose you want, in a single pill. Pills manufacturers do not guarantee that half a pill contains half the medication. Manufacturers only guarantee that a single pill contains the amount of medication it was made to contain. Please- do not try to taper off by cutting pills: instead get reduced dosage pills in the amount you are using to taper. Example: you taper from 1mg x 4/day to begin, get prescriptions for .25mg & .5mg. Begin tapering by taking ( 1 x.5 + 1 x .25) four times a day. ALL those tapering any med, i wish you ALL the Best.
I've taken prescribed hydrocodone for probably 15 years. Does that mean that I'm going to continue to be depressed for years after I quit? But here's my real question: I rashly stopped all at once nine days ago. And I haven't had any noticeable withdrawal symptoms. How can that be?? Is my long usage going to result in a delayed tsunami of hideous withdrawal??? I really need an answer here! And thank you--your videos are clear as crystal and enormously helpful. I probably better tell my doc that, rather than just stemming pain with gabapentin, I should do your taper. And I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to ease my severe osteoarthritis, complex scoliosis, and stenosis . . . . eeeee . . . ibuprofen is good, but I'm not sure how good.
How did it go?
@@seakseak5766 Amazingly, it went fine. But my arthritis is bad enough that I have chosen to go back on the hydrocodone-they don't seem to have anything better to offer me for my chronic pain. Still, good to know that I won't have terrible withdrawals to go through when and if I choose to cut back.
Whoever calls it a bad case of the flu is full of shit and don’t know what they’re talking about.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO ❤
just wondering, would possibly pushing your doses further and further apart, say you can last 4 hours between doses, could your goal to be going 6 hours between doses and then continue this process till you work your way down to 1 dose a day and then possibly switch to one sub a day and then stepping down to a half then quarter till you dont even notice a difference and like i said before waiting as long as possible in between till your able to kick it all together
If you can do 16 hours on half your dose then do that until yummy can hold 24hr on that dose then decrease again and do 16 hrs until u reach 24hr on that dose n keep doing that until you can reduce to like .02 and then stop
Going daily does suck……the long lines and gossip is depressing just being around. The meds itself are helpful though.
They have stopped prescribing lefexadine here which can really help with withdrawal. Yet they have banned it in Europe. Absolutely mad if you ask me. This drug helps you with getting of heroin so why stop something that works and is good. It was originally for blood pressure issues but also helps with withdrawal
I'm a chronic pain patient. I get prescribed medications. I have been on pain killers since around 1999, maybe a little earlier or later. I am so tired of going through withdrawal every time the pharmacy runs out of one or both of them. I noticed I adjust to part of the withdrawal symptoms in about 3 days. However, I have been out of MS-Cottin for 1 week and still notice some problems, but only when I think about them. Last week, the pharmacy ran out of both the MS-Cottin and the Oxycodone. I ended up being forced on 1/2 of a 15mg Oxycodone for a few days. I don't feel any different at this point. While I managed to fill the oxycodone prescription, I have decided to step down. I'm going to drop to 1/4 tablet in a week or two, then attempting the elimination of 1 dose every 1 or two weeks. If I can't tolerate that, I'm going to purchase a milligram scale and use your advice from there. Thank you. I was accidently poisoned while working in Algeria and got chronic pancreatitis as a host of other issues. One of my concerns is the opioids slow digestion. In many people that causes constipation, however, with me, it pretty much stops my chronic diarrhea. I'm sure there must be other medications that can fix that though. I want to be free of being treated as a newly released prisoner on probation. Every month (or two) I have to see a pain management doctor. I undergo drug counts and random drug tests. I can only get my prescription filled at one pharmacy and in state only. These are hard prescriptions to have due to the war on legal drugs and doctors. Thank you for the video and advice. I will be talking to my doctor in a few weeks for the appointment made last time I saw her. I never used pills to get high. I just don't think the pain I'm in anymore really requires them. I'll soon find out.
These comments have put the fear of God in me!! I'm home post op and in pain. Taking 1 to 2 - 5 mg oxy as needed. Pain gets pretty bad at night, so I'd like to know I'm safe taking them to get by and be able to sleep. I don't particularly enjoy the feeling the give so that should help. I am however a beer drinker and now I'm on blood thinners and beer is a huge no no! Im guessing THAT is going to be my battle once I'm healed and feeling better. I wish you all strength and determination to break free if you are hooked!! Scary situation for sure!!!
If this is the beginner stop now. It will be harder later. God bless I am looking to stop while I am ahead.
Hello. Please stop taking this pill ASAP. Please seek another treatment because if you get hooked trust me It the worst feeling
10% every week is much too fast, nobody has to suffer. Go down in 5 mg steps. Wait a few weeks until you are comfortable and down another 5mg. Might take a year, but you won't quit in the process because you feel like shit.
Can you use this for suboxone?
Are you serious methadones withdrawal is so much worse than heroin
The UK just throws methadone at you no option for rehab unless u or ur family have money
The way you talk about Euphoria sounds like you're reading something written by Puritans
Yeah right try tappering yourself off when you are an addict no doctors going to give me fetty to get off of it ive een tryong to tapper for a month and a half been sock everyday im going crazy
@BIOFEEDBACK hi.,I've,heard of this method. Thankyou for explaining it. Will this work with slow release morphine? I've saved up 20000mg which I'm hoping is enough. Did you ever work out how many mg's over the 17 weeks added up to?
quitting is easy i've done it a thousand times. i used this techique quit pot first then was doing 20 perks a day so i cut down half a pill every 4 days when i was down to one pill i joined na one night and god first day straight in many years. i stayed clean for 21/2 years then the gov. sued me for 330000 dollars taxes and i started again. i'm sick of cops, pushers and doctors. i don't get high any more. first try great but it is never quite as good again until it is a real bummer. i'm thinking of trying again.
this is hard. i get the idea. i feel confused. whats the point.oh dear. is it to late, as i listen it makes sense. the schedule is hard.
"Its just a matter or following the dosage schedule, week by week" - do you happen to have a tutorial video on how to just?
does this method cause withdrawal the whole time because your taking less?
No
It takes self discipline and that's something most addicts don't have. Addiction from opiates/opioids is the most powerful addiction known. I have taken Opiates daily for over 20 years. In that time I have had to go through horrific withdrawal. I have very recently started taking Suboxone at the highest allowed amount. It is barely doing the job but I'm two weeks without taking opioid medication which I supplemented with street drugs, heroin, oxy, you name it, whatever would get me through to my prescription renewal. It started with back surgery that went bad hemorrhaging after back surgery 4 levels of spinal fusion, decompression, bone grating, simulated bone packed around the titanium rods that went up both sides on my lower spine fastened with screws into the vertebra. I was to take a year to recover but had to go back to work within two weeks after surgery thinking I could be careful enough I'd recover. I didn't. Bleeding into the bone packed around the titanium rod prevented it from hardening. Now I had a mass of soft mud allowing movement sending throbbing bursts of pain through my back into my hips and legs. Its been horrific for years. My liver is shot now and lost 53 lbs. in 2 months. I'm very ill. So don't throw everyone into the same basket thinking weaning themselves off is possible. It is not possible in my case. I've tried harder than most can imagine.
Its possible. But it maybe you need the opiates. If you're in pain. I understand believe me I'm desperate to change my life and therefore don't care about the withdrawal as its more mental battle than physical
Great video on getting off the prescription drugs ,we need more videos like this to help us get off them, its hard to get off once you are on them it affects your sleep everything, the sad part is your Dr got you accustomed them , you are an unwitting addict thru legal prescribed drugs by your Dr terming you into a return customer
Yes, I am on lots of prescription drugs and now I can’t get off them 😔 I even told my doctor I am addicted but he still didn’t offer to help me off them and it took me a lot to admit that. Now I can’t go 4 hours without taking any or I start feeling ill
