Great idea, and inventive with how you set it up, with the power button and it looks like a real window. This is great for people who are stuck in some basement or place that has no windows, and there are places that have no windows.....but this is a great idea to make one feel like it's a window, I like rainy storm videos on youtube, they are 10 hours long and some have country sounds or wind chimes, you name it, there is a storm for you! Then there are also beach videos of the waves and the sun, it's beautiful and relaxing to have on your tv. On your's it would look like you lived on the beach! I like that.

I bought and tried to use the fluidmaster better than wax seal when attempted my first every install of an American Titan Standard toilet. The flange was slightly above the floor and the toilet was wobbly. It never balanced so I was forced to use the wax ring that it came with. Sucks to have spent 10x more than a wax ring. I would say the wax ring is more DIY friendly and easier to use.

I am setting up in a large conference room and have decided just to forget the fancy stuff and put in a new outlet for power and a component plate like yours using keystone jacks. I will be using a low voltage frame instead of a box - no need to cut off the back end and very easy to get at everything. Also is up to code and low voltage doesn't require full box. You had me chuckling a lot.

The plumbers, electricians, painters, framers and all the tradesmen were awful, horrible, terrible, sloppy and unprofessional. I would not want any of them back even if it was covered under warrantee. I'm not as fastidious as you but know good work when I see it. The electrical journeyman I trained under when I was in my 20's did perfect work, but it's just really rare. The electrical work I see that was installed in houses built as few as 20 years ago looks like it was done by jackleg handymen.

@@MartyThePastaGuy Nice. By the way, I forgot to mention, just so you know-- the translation of the words into English (straight from Mahakatha company PDF translation pamphlet) is "I restore perfect cosmic balance with Chandra (Moon) so my life may be blessed." Good luck on your journey out there. I'll check in on your page in the future to see if I find anymore useful videos. I'm about to try and set my first toilet. I had to take the floor out of one of my bathrooms that had gotten mold in it from water leaking from my RO system underneath the vanity. Took that all out, TONS of mold. The flooring had it underneath too, so I replaced the subfloor. The flange was cast iron and all weirdly cockied, so I had a plumber come in and cut it off. I planned on putting tile in so he said go ahead and put the hardibacker board in and NOT the finished floor, and he would set the new flange. Well, that was all accomplished but now after doing a lot of research online it seems the flange should only be set on TOP of the finished floor. I'm feeling pretty upset. Not to mention I had to redo the subfloor myself because I had construction guys come in and work on the door near it/subfloor and they put in a new subfloor but cut around the cast iron flange so large that there was nothing left for the flange to be screwed into. The plumber said, "You have to lay a new subfloor" or brace it from underneath. Well it's a small bathroom and I don't want things all rigged up. I wanted a nice subfloor. So I ripped the work up and just bought the tools and replaced the subfloor around the toilet flange myself with only a 1/8th gap between the pipe and the subfloor so that the flange could be screwed down properly. And now said plumber seems to give me the wrong information on how the flange should be set, after of course I already paid and he's long gone. It seems it MIGHT be ok if the flange is level with the finished floor with an extra thick wax ring but it seems it is not idea. I have this kind of issue time and time again. It may take me a week worth of research but in the end if I just do it myself, it ends up like a real professional job should be done, instead of most of today's 'professionals' that just slap things together.
