I must have missed it. What seat rails are you running. I’m 5’9”, would they keep me low. I have seen that some seat rails really lift the seat silly high.

What exhaust system are you running?

I have the oil dipstick ziptied down on my 16v car for drifting but ive also been told if I were to replace it with new oem that it will not push out like that with high rpm and crankcase pressure.. So far I haven't had any issues with the 20v car or the ae111 pushing the stick out without a ziptie or spring, both of which get beat on pretty hard regularly. Yours is likely due to not boring the block like you said but a new dipstick with fresh rubber might be worth trying out

Good seeing the old girl getting closer to being roadworthy again. Its been a long time. I did want to mention about the Megan inner tie rods is that they have a steering spacer built in for that extra steering angle. 😀

That paint looks great. I really like the carbon fiber battlegarage rs poking through. Very nice touch. I wish there were new door gaskets available for the ae82 chassis 😢. Having a reliable daily second car is realistically the only way to enjoy classic Corollas 😂. I’ve been on a seemingly endless train of fixing one thing and discovering new things to fix.

So happy to see your 86 coming back to life, the frame shop did a great job! It helps encourage me that I can have my frame straightened when I'm ready too, and to not give up. Excited to see it all together! I was thinking white with BGRS green stickers / door livery and pinstripes on the lower aero lines would be cool, but agreed with red if not painting the interior or bay. Mismatched bay colors only work with grey scale, in my opinion!

the BG logo needs to be green. it wouldn’t look right unless the car is red. red car!
