Toro Power Clear e21 60V Battery Powered Snow Blower Review & Runtime!
Bar oils with "tack addatives" also prevent the oil from working into the chain link/pin area. This accelerates chain wear significantly especially under hard use. Especially good if your company also sells bars and chains. I have used a mix of 75% used synthetic motor oil & 25% used ATF. Huskys and Stihl both requiring noticeably less chain adjustments. Bar replacement also seems less though exact data I haven't tracked, but certainly not worse. How anyone can say that the motor oil that was just fine in a BMW M twin turbo at 6000 rpm is somehow immediately a bad lubricant if you cleanly drain it out definitely needs a reality check. Also, before these gradeless cash cow bar oils appeared on the scene, manufactures specified SAE10 or SAE30 for bar oil winter/summer. Its a free country so toss your money away as you see fit.
Thanks for watching!
This is great advice
Thanks for watching!
I have the 261, love that saw.
Thanks for watching!
This is an excellent review of the different blade use. Thanks
Thanks for watching!
I have a 260,261 361 had a 391 was heavy sold it not a pro saw had a 462 never had a 500i. 261 is a nice little saw.
had a 261 for alongtime never needed a dcomp
Thanks for watching! They aren't always necessary, but they are nice to have to help with ease of starting!
Maybe stihl has changed the compression ratio over “alongtime”
I never considered a 50cc saw "a beast". Heck, my 362 is my "small saw". But yes, absolutely pay the extra for the 261. It is a great saw.
Thanks for watching!
Exactly! Buy a 362 instead. The power she has extra compared to 261 is great and she is built to last and take loads. The high rpm the 362 does are awesome and hey, never have a saw starting that easy… I like 261 as an extra saw they are light but they are not beasts.
How does Stihl achieve higher HP from a smaller engine?
By allowing more air and fuel to go through the cylinder my ms261 was ported and I would bet it's got 6hp now
Hello. To answer your question: manufacturing methods, air, and fuel. Thanks for watching!
For bow hunting, the electric UTV is the way to go for sure
The battery Landmaster is impressively quiet!
Ive used stihl bar oil, in winter even light stihl bar oil was like sludge, orange jug. Harvest king and some other cheaper bar oil i used flowed alot better in the cold.
Thank you for the feedback! Stihl does make a winter grade bar and chain lubricant that comes in a blue jug. If you find the woodcutter bar and chain lubricant (which is in an orange jug) is too thick, I would give their winter blend a try! I hope this helps.
surprised how well this actually works, honestly hate string trimmers with a passion, they just don't cut anything thicker than standard suburban grass and bog down even on cow grass when using nylon string. not to nit pick or be that guy but to be technical and for educational purposes, a socket wrench is a socket permanently attached to a handle with no ratcheting mechanism, they do not make these anymore. if it has a ratcheting mechanism it is a ratchet. if it is a straight bar you can swap sockets on it is a flex or breaker bar. there are left hand threads, they used to be fairly common when it was thought the centrifugal force of wheels on a vehicle, typically big trucks and very early model cars could loosen lug nuts, one side would have standard/right hand threads the other would have left hand threads. the terms loosen and tighten still apply to both. the proper term is clockwise and counter-clockwise.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks but you need a 2nd battery
Thanks for watching! The AK series battery is interchangeable with all other AK series tools, making it a very versatile and effective line of yard tools!
I mix 1 to 1 used motor oil with cheap bar oil. If you want to make it "tacky" add some STP. As far as ruining the pump goes that is false. Your car has an oil pump with much tighter tolerances then your chainsaw and it pumps used oil all day long with no issues. Many people are using veggie oil for bar oil, I use it in my electric saws. The bottom line is many bar oils are overpriced. You can buy many bars in what your going to save in oil costs. Most of the damage I've seen on old bars is caused from running too loose a chain. I let the used motor oil settle out for a few weeks and I do not use the stuff on the bottom of my container. Sure dealers want to sell pricey oil at a profit, I understand, but as a user I save money where and when I can. Recycling motor oil is fine in my book.
Thanks for watching!
On a scale from 1 to 10 how strong is the suction
Hello! After using the SEA 20, I was very impressed with the amount of suction and its overall usability. It would be perfect to keep in a camper car or truck, especially if one has kids. I would rate the suction at least a solid 8. Thanks for watching!
Save money. Get msa 60 and a ak30 battery. They are exactly the same saw except for the battery
Thanks for watching!
So I did. Thanks
Hi Love it Kjell Sweden ❤❤❤
Thank you!

Not the most thorough but a good homeowner intro.
Thanks for watching!
I was so happy to get the last 170 available at my local hardware store. I always wanted a smaller saw for brushing and I just happened to see that one and figured it was now or never!
Glad you were able to get your new saw!
Do not buy Mahindra 800 hours on 24,000 tractor will not cover internal engine malfunction
Sorry to hear this. Hopefully you get it figured out!
This video was good. You should do one that covers the professional line of saws.
We are glad you like it. We will definitely consider a pro line video. Thank you for the feedback!
I bought the 271 farm boss 20 inch bar
We hope you enjoy it!
Thank you!! Is that all ochenkopf axe??
You're welcome. They are not all Ochenkopf heads.
I was interested in these models.
If you have any questions, we are happy to help!
Too cute
We are glad you enjoyed the video.
Say something about battery
Hello! What information are you interested in?
I've been using a 14" Homelite for years but it finally reached the point of replacement. Just bought a 20" Stihl MS271 Farm Boss. Once I figured out how to avoid flooding the engine, its been working like a dream.
I'm glad to hear it's working well for you! Hopefully you will enjoy it for many years to come.
Get back to the pro saws! The homeowner saws are just that , made cheap for a reason.
Thanks for checking out the video!
I wondered what happened to the msa140, thanks for explaining that too.
You're welcome!
Hi chain oil here South Island in New Zealand is 3 to-4 time takey as , amtech and total oil is the best here it reminds me of spider cobwebs in the wind and there is one other oil supplier , there oil is tacky too
one thing that "you did NOT" mention, how this timecutter throttle cable and choke cables get's melted because it's so damn close to the OHV and exhaust. i have the 50in deck not the "my ride" and less than 4 months my mower was in the shop cuz both cables was melted! bad engineering on TORO's behalf. this same issue happened on a bad boy zero turn. TORO customer service is garbage and they only want you to take it to a dealer. other than that.....i like my 2024 mower. DOM- march 2024.
Sorry to hear you had an issue. Hopefully they were able to get you fixed and back out mowing!
I hope the 162 works out for you!
Great comparison! I’m a Stihl guy, but the Toro can be had new for $150 right now so Toro it is to supplement my BG86 and BR800. I don’t always want to smell like gas….
Thanks for watching Brian!
Good video. Tks
Thank you for the feedback!
Thanks Karl for the review on msa70 I will be going out tomorrow to buy one thanks again from the uk
You're welcome! Let us know how you like your new saw.
You're welcome. Let us know how you like your new saw.
Finally a Video that shows these Chainsaws in Comparsion...Thank you
You're welcome!
i still think the best is MS 170
The 170 is a good saw!
Love my 182 Just change out the spark plug to an E3 spark plug and what a difference 😊
That's great to hear! I'm glad you're happy with your saw.
do you sell ,tacifier so i could add more to my bar and chain oil
Sorry, we do not.
Thanks for the info, Kyle!
You're welcome.
Probably a Harris voter.
Thanks for checking out the video.
God bless have a great day in 2024!
You too.
Who’s watching this in 2024? Great videos!!
How does this compare to the 157 mph Toro blower with the 4ah battery?
Great question! The major differences are going to be the CFMs (605 compared to 900) and the velocity of up to 157 mph compared to up to 165 mph. After running both, the run time difference was the biggest contrast I found between the two. The 157 ran non-stop without turbo for roughly 33 minutes compared to the 165 around 19 minutes in the same operating conditions. Hope this helps!
Thank you for this comparison!
You're welcome!
Thanks, Kyle!
You're welcome!

I have never ever ever seen anyone mowing their grass in the middle of the night….🤔🤔🤔
@jaxsonhugh9334, believe it or not, while growing up, I knew someone that pretty regularly mowed when it was dark enough that they needed headlights. And, if I have to be honest, I've done it a few times myself. 🤣
Chick saws
Thanks for checking out the video!
Thanks for checking out the video!
Tackyness is not as important as lubrication. New oil is being constantly fed to the bar, it only has to stay on for one revolution of the chain.
@900stx7, thanks for the feedback!
Hell yeah, you only want it tacky enough so it doesn't fly off of your bar
