I attended all three days of the 1994 San Marino GP. Rubens accident happened right in front of me as I was taking a photo and I caught him mid-tumble. During the break after Roland's accident RAI had a helicopter flying up and down the front straight giving a high level view when it suddenly and unexpectedly zoomed right in to where my friends and I were sitting because of a Gilles Villenuve sign just behind us. Sunday was even worse because we knew that Roland accident was bad because we saw the trauma helicopter land just across the track from us we never had any indications about Senna and only learned about his passing when we got home to my friend's townhouse in Maranello and saw the tv coverage. What a terrible weekend that was!

The best part of the Bodine/Evans Martinsville clash is the sequence of photos. There is a man in a wheelchair in the first few frames of the sequence as Richie's car goes airborne and then suddenly, the wheelchair is empty and the guy is nowhere to be seen. Where did he go? lol
