@thatonedude3108 haha you're welcome! In general, my rule of thumb is to only actually buy stuff that's either t5 or 2 tiers above my current lvl. Spending thousands on minor improvements just doesn't make sense. Might be different on hardcore mode where you can never die, but even there you're probably just better off grinding low lvl quests with t3 gear. I imagine in future updates Brynn won't have t5 gear, at least not until you've traveled to the other places in the world. So t4 might be the ceiling for a long time. Rn t4 are at a really weird place aside a few items that are relatively cheap, especially the ones from the tailor. You can get a really good t4 armor for like 1.5k more or less.

After Stone Shard I was thinking of playing Outward, as I have never been able to go further than the first area... I'm not very good... But after that, I wanted to give hardcore a try. @@thatonedude3108 Rotten Willow is another place in the map that gives intermediate contracts, you should probably visit it sometime! It should show up on the map, is northwest of mannshire. Starting town is tier 1, Mannshire is tier 2, Rotten Willon is tier 3 and Danbrie is tier 4. I guess you're having some trouble because you skipped a whole tier of difficulty xD

I think the game might have a "No you" function to make sure you fail. Still, despite the very rare circumstances, It's very fair, kind of like Dark Souls. All I had to do was leave. That's crazy, how strong is a shield? It sounds like the wall build, that’s pretty Sick!

@@thatonedude3108 I just got all the defensive tactics in shield, warfare, and armored combat and just cycled through them on cooldown against him. You get 100% block every turn and a ton of flat damage reduction and counter. I killed him but then I died to a bear because they still bleed spam even if they're doing almost no damage lol.

@ NOOOOO! Dude that sucks man! We have to take down the bear no matter what! Still, the fact you can do that is pretty legendary, would have loved to see the fight!

The Bailiffs are the only ones who sell you tier 5 gear once you're at Amity in Brynn, so they're most definitely worth it. Just not when you're still at benevolence.

​@@thatonedude3108you can buy fire flasks from either alchemist or nistroan dock traders.

A lot of luck. You have a shot if you have prepared well for the dungen before the event. Good gear, traps, and being well-rested also helps. Once you are in the situation all you can do is hope for the best. You could try to knock them back and create an opening to escape, but that probably wouldn't work. A bear trap could also help. Unfortunately, I'm not very good at the game, so I’m not the best person to advise on this. XD
