What size tires you running ?

I’ve had a 750 as my first bike. I now own a ninja 300 after 30 years of riding experience. The 300 is way more fun in my opinion as you can bang the gears and push it without having to prepare your will.

This is my first bike. Never rode motorcycles previously. I was worried by all the gate keepers out there saying it is too powerful. After a month of self teaching I was floating the front wheel over ruts and puddles. I've never felt out of control. In fact now 3 months into it I can't imagine having less power, or more weight. I mean it feels heavy to me, coming from bicycles and all. Very controllable if you pay attention to the throttle and clutch.

I like the smaller bore dirtbikes because their not really much slower they feel just as fast it’s just rider preference wether you wanna use a bunch of clutch work that dictates big bore vs small bore n if you want engine braking which dictates 2stroke vs 4 stroke even tho I like the smaller bore dirtbikes I like the bigger rockets 600+ simply because clutch work isn’t that important

Just start with a 600. I bought an R3 and have had it for 6 months. Im bored of the bike and want something bigger now. I feel like I definitely could’ve just learned how to ride on a 600 instead of this 300.

I understand that you are trying to help beginners make the right choice and save money....and i agree that if ur a speed demon you should get the bigest bike u could get....FOR TRACK RACING!!! On the streets however ... anybody speed demon or not should choose a bike's cc acording to safety and speed limits. I'd say anything above 400cc is too much power for streets riding for any rider! Anything above is either useless or an opportunity for u to go past safety and reach speeds u should'nt.

I say start with a mountain bike, when you master down hill and enduro riding, move to two stroke dirt bike. Once you learn how to jump 20 feet at lest and how to balance the in the mud in high speeds, the you will learn how to handle the machine. After this drive 125 then 300 and then 600.

Other vehicles violating motorcycle’s right-of-way is what causes 2/3 of multiple-vehicle accidents, specially in intersections. It might work better if you let some of the air out of the tires. They look like they're at the pressure listed on the door sticker.
