Good card

Ive been setting up at our local shows for a couple years now and i go to some bigger shows to look around and buy and something i have learned is everybody has nice cards not necassarily high end but some decent stuff and if the price is fair you can sell cards if you can get people to looking through your stuff once people know you its easier. At every show you will see certain tables will be surrounded with people all the time and others will hardly have anybody and when you look at boths cards they arent that miuch difference im not sure if its being well known or just being approachable but if your fairly priced and can get people to look you will sell cards

I got a crazy drake london 24/50 that I can't find any where not even on beckett. I don't trust TGC Pricer, but it said 150$(TGC is scanner app.) Maybe it's too new, but these Panini Prestige have been out for a while now. This Drake London orange xtra points parallel has been such a pain for me to find a price

I’ve only ever paid up to 150$ for a sports card, the hobby can be fun when you arnt chasing crazy stuff but teams and players and cards you just think look cool. Just my opinion 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hi, man. I am new to card selling. What is a good way to sell my old cards? I have a collection of sports cards (NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL) mostly from late 80s-mid 90s. Most in good condition. I have a few older cards, rookies, etc. that are probably worth a decent amount. I have looked into values online and find wide range of potential values. I don't really like eBay, online selling. There are a few shops in town that buy cards. Does online selling typically yield higher sell value, or, do brick and mortar shops? I would prefer brick and mortar, yet, my guess is online will be higher sell value.

Retail boxes are garbage. Hobby boxes are usually garbage as well. Just buy what u want. I will buy retail r hobby for fun. However when serious cash just pay for card u believe in .

Dave, enjoy the video and welcome to the hockey world…so in 2024-2025 for rookies you are looking for a Celebrini, Will Smith, Lane Hudson, Matvie, or Gaulthier (just don’t say his name in Philly)….Upper Deck has a very great group of rookies that they call “Young Guns”…they might take some time to collect but they do gain value. McDavid, Pasta, Crosby, McKinnon are valuable. If you can go out and by a box of 1990-1991 Upper Deck NHL series…the rookie cards in that collection are affordable and decent…it was also the first year the Upper Deck introduced the “ Young Guns” set of cards.

You did an exceptional job explaining the good aspects of the hobby. Now, it's time to come full circle and do a detailed video about the negative aspects of the hobby, like scalpers, trimmers, those who weigh packs, boxes, cases, those who wash or clean cards or add numbers, like 01/50, yes, there are people stamping their own numbers on cards and trying to pass them off. Please don't forget about the CT scanners, those who get hook-ups from Walmart and Target distributors and always seem to show up just before, during or just after a restock. Also, the local card shop owners who go into Walmart, Target, Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, Academy Sports and more and buy up all the highly-touted blaster and mega boxes, like Select, Optic, even Prizm, then place them in their store at a 30% to 70% mark up!

Collect what you love is advice that transcends all hobbies, sports cards, trading cards, Hot Wheels Matchbox, stamps and coins. I remember, back in the mid to late 80's when I actually started "collecting" cards and not buying them to place in my bike spokes or throw and hit girls in the back of the head in class back in the late 70's early 80's. The first thing I was advised to do was protect your cards. Back then penny sleeves and top loaders were readily available, but my friends and I would load up on the sheets or pages, where we would college teams, break it down by sports and more. The first, last and only time I got into trouble in school, was when I had my binder and my friends and I were sitting in the back of the class looking at and trading cards, when we were supposed to be learning the U.S. Constitution. I remember back then, the value of the card never mattered, I have been ecstatic to get a $3 Ken Griffey card, compared to a $60 Dan Marino rookie card.

So with value you can just send one or 2 cards? No membership?
