Danner tfx g3 boot review

Quick review of the tgx g3 boot by danner, this has become my favorable non american made boot. This boot has a good lacing system. Comfortable padding. A solid outsole and midsole and looks pretty great too.

Danner M.E.B (marine expeditionary boot) review/first look
Do they have replaceable footbeds?
@androidnokia4.287 yes, these are "recraftable" due to the stitch down construction
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👏👏
Helmand 2010, foot patrols all day every day as a SAW gunner, and these boots NEVER failed me. The absolute best boot on earth. Period.
ok you hit one but was it the one you were aiming for?
Check out my other cz 75B short to find out!
Nice!! Good shooting and filming!! I just got my cz 75b. Bought a few different weight bullets. What were you shooting here? Thanks
this was 115 grain reloads I made. love the way this gun shoots.
👍🏾
That pistol is a true piece of art
Are both barrels interchangeable?
Yes
I’ve always wanted an all stainless steel body pistol I just turned 21 and I’m debating on getting this one or a shadow system mb920 because of the price… is the 1.6 price worth it? I want it to last too
How much does it cost, brother
I have a question. I heard that this specific pair of boots causes ankle pains. At least thats what the reviews said about them, have you felt any pain from wearing this boots?
You're good to go brother
Great overview. Your comments were helpful. Thanks for taking the time to post this video.
Thanks Mathew for such an insightful review. Very helpful. I also admire your honest disclaimer that you are not a Marine. You earned my subscription and hope this boots are holding strong. I look forward to hearing from you with great content
Thank you for a very good & objective Kimber review. You speak very well.
M9A4 enters the chat... If the M9A3 is the Enzo then the A4 must be the F8 Tributo, lol... Beretta nailed it with this one. Got mine new for $860 in 2023. Absolutely beautiful gun. Also, QVO tactical does make iwb kydex holsters for the a3 with or without light. My a4 centurion fits the a3 holster no problem. I edc appendix mine with a light.
Just purchased the Dawn in 10mm. Going to celebrate our independence at the range shooting it.
Excelente reseña !!! Muchas gracias
The slide stop is a nightmare for me to get back in.
Got one recently I have not put many rounds through it yet but so far seems great. Would like to add optics to it but no success finding a red dot mount. Anyone found one yet?
In Stainless steel !
That slanted mag plate is a definite dealbreaker for me(Lol)
beautiful gun but its still MIM lol
How many mim parts have you personally experienced a failure with
@@flyinfr33domfreedom2 Thumb safety my friend! thumb safety..
but MIM doesnt stop me from loving Kimbers! lol i just replaced with Wilson Combat.. no biggie.
@@andresudako323 I broke down my 2 year old Kimber Eclipse Custom Target II and replaced every spring and the sear, disconnector, thumb safety and slide stop with Wilson Combat bullet proof items. The same for my Colt Gov't series 80. It was a preventative measure since I had never personally had any failures with either piece for many thousand rounds. No more MIM any more!
Hi, do you still have this “single action creep” after 2 years of use? Just bought 92X P., and it annoys me… Don’t feel it when I shoot doubles though.
Ended up selling it. The trigger being one of the reasons Never went away for me but some guys shoot more than others so everyone's milage could be different
Great looking gun. Too bad it didn’t come with more mags. Hope it works well.
U have 1 issue Sight post is still in mill spec, high end AK pistons wobble mildly, sticky charging handle when moving very slow even happens on a WASR or Zastava. Your selector and dust cover issue Now that's BS they need to fix that, all else is pretty much on all AKs. I have 7 of em lol
Do you have any psa aks? I just got the gf5 looking for feedback! It’s a very nice gun
@@Gator69420GF3, I dig it
@@eclectic3618 cool thanks for the feedback! How many rounds ya think you ran through her?
Can the barrel of the m9a3 be used on the 92x Performance?
Yes!
@@flyinfr33domfreedom2 Thanks
M9A3 FOR ME EVERYDAY OVER THE 92X
J'adore ce beretta 92x il est très efficace. Peut tu me donner les références du sac de transport blackhawk s'il te plaît.
Good review! But one of the reasons I'm very attracted to Danner is because they say they will rebuild a boot when worn out like your first pair. (Restrictions of course). My question is: Why didn't you ask them to rebuild your old pair? Thanks very much!
Got this in 9mm and will get one in 10mm
Getting mine this summer
I highly recommend getting the 45 instead of the nine
@@flyinfr33domfreedom2 I typically go for the 45 also but the cost to shoot 1000 rounds of 9 mm versus 45 is a huge difference
None of my 1911 ejection ports have tooling marks like that in them, so it can't really be that common. Only 1911s I've seen that on were really low end models like ria and metro arms. Pretty bad that Kimber can't get that right. This Kimber costs more than my TRP did, and is nowhere near as cleanly done as my TRP.
Just bought one, 1911 9mm, two weeks ago and love the looks and the way it shoots. Very nice kimber and will be looking for the 45 1911 soon
This guy don’t know shit
Is very nice guy
Just back from the range put 300 through it from new, flawless performance with various brands ammo all 230g ball. Disappointed with the sights in indoor range lighting.
That 1 min long disclaimer 1:08 lol There is something socially wrong when you had to disclaim like that
Yeah I wish I didn't feel that necessary but people are often judgmental, thank you for watching though!
$1600.00 before tax. Comes with 1 single mag and a flimsy box with generic non fitted foam insert.
Should be in a Kimber hardcase
@@flyinfr33domfreedom2 It has Kimber logo. It’s flimsy and cheap.
@@josephgagatch7462 you're not wrong about that
Did yours come with an extended mag base? Mine has no extended mag base attached so getting the mag all the way in is a bit harder
Nevermind, found the additional parts and everything else under the foam in the case haha
Looks incredible and sounds like a super fun gun. Thinking of picking one up as a fun range toy. Quick question, do the sights return to target quickly or do they wobble around a bit before settling? I’ve heard mixed reviews regarding the brigadier slide but overall the performance seems to be incredible!
It's beautiful and dry practice in hand feels great. I don't think the on the range performance matches the price. I overall wouldn't buy again personally. I found a good bit of wobble in the sights on shot recovery I have a Wilson 92 centurion and aside from aesthetics I prefer it to this gun by alot
@@flyinfr33domfreedom2 awesome thanks for the info! Yeah I’m between the performance and ltt elite so just trying to get some opinions
@@desmondhumebrotha3522 from what I hear the Wilson's and ltts are very comparable I would recommend an ltt RDO I don't think you will ever look back on that purchase with regret
Thanks for showing us a great looking gun. Waiting for the next one.
I have the same pistol and measuring the pull weight with the Lyman gauge I’m getting 6.4 lbs in double action, and 3 lbs 2 oz in single action. Very sweet indeed.
Danner, the US made models, are the best off the shelf boots you can buy. My Rainforest boots lasted two years working trail crew at the Grand Canyon. Everybody, except the guy with $600 custom made Whites, had to replace theirs two to three times a year. Maybe the only proving ground for boots harder than USMC boot camp. We had the rocks, the sand, and the miles, with the added benefit of mule piss. I bought a pair of the RATS from Danner and expect to wear them for the next decade.
Awesome, thanks for sharing your input. I totally agree.
I've just put down some money on a new Kimber Rapide Scorpius at my local gun store they had this one also but I just didn't like the look of that gold barrel.
I must have gotten a bad one. The trigger on mine is very gritty. My $800 springfield has a better stock trigger than this $1700 gun. Fit and finish is good but that is where it ends for me
If Beretta had only canted the slide cuts slightly forward like they do on all their 92s 😒
I held one of these, very nice indeed, however I didn't have the money and I was thinking "carry" so I went 92x RDO Compact. I will get the "G" conversion kit soon. Thanks for sharing!
are the barrels interchangeable?? I have a 92x performance and want to get a silencer on it.
👍👍
These are by far the best guns Kimber has ever made.
