A beautiful bass there mate.

I have a 1983 Stingray bought new by my wife as a present for me. I love that bass. I still use it however I’m a lot more careful with it these days. I don’t know how you can get a better bass than that?

Very nice, I’m a big vintage fender fan I really like that colour combination with the black blocks, I sadly missed out on one the same recently, it’s a shame I’m far away in the uk , you have some lovely basses

Hi brother, I have a Hofner and want to buy these LaBella beatle flatwound light, but I'm worried because I use the bass half step down. Do you think the light gauge works well with Eb standard, or it's better to pick the standard gauge? Thanks

Hell of a bass! I own the same JV03xxx.

Stretch the strings too. Just pull/tug them lightly along the fretboard, tune and do it again. If (its your first time changing strings) and you struggle getting the E in tune leave the bass a few hours or overnight. Give another little stretch and retune again. Andy you should do more shows like this. Was spot on man 😎

That is a beautiful jb. Andy, are the necks on the 70s jb slightly slimmer in width to the 60s jbs? And do you prefer 60s or 70s pup spacing, does it make much difference in tone etc in your opinion?

Tonally not much difference but the 760FHB2 seem to be a little brighter and less prone to distorting, especially on the open E string.

WOW!!!!!!! You definitely brought the tone out!!!!!! One of the Best sounding basses of all time. The 1977 Fender Jazz. Haven't been a tone like it SINCE!!!!!!!
