I went on this last week after waiting seven years to come back to Disney and since I’m such a disney geek and I’ve watched videos of Dinosaur on RUclips so many times I had to yell “Left! Right!” and “They’re not gonna make it!” along with the narration 😂

Why didn't they put T-Rex in the ride? Where's he?

I had seen where someone commented that this was an after-hours experience for cast members?? Disney has ALWAYS gone to great lengths to hide the "magic" and immersion experience with any of their attractions. Cast member or not its hard to believe they would let even the members take footage of the entire ride with the lights in. I've seen many videos of people being taken off of rides that broke down and there is someone at every turn saying no video or photography and also put up black screens to obstruct views especially when riders have to exit into the rear employee only areas behind the attractions and buildings. Disney has always gone to great lengths to protect the illusion. Hard to believe they would allow it, but if they have become that lax about it then it just reflects even more how much Disney has slid into the "don't give two shits anymore" that we are seeing now in their movies and products.. Sad to see..

If I were still a student I would have tried to get some sort of engineering/science internship with Disney. I think I had applied. But nothing came of it. Another way into Disney if that’s your end goal is to get the necessary experience in other roles and then come to Disney and present all the work necessary to become an Imagineer! 😍

The busses were the worst part of my CP. Always overcrowded and smelly. And people would put their bags on the seats next to them so people couldn’t sit.

This video is great! I just got accepted to the DCP and start in January of 2025. I really appreciate you showing the pros and cons of the internship. I fell what I got out of this was, “Don’t expect this to be fun and games!” Which I don’t expect it to be. I’m there to work hard and earn my paycheck. My main goal is to get an internship for writing at one of these major animation studios. Having something like this on my resume will help with that! But now I’m 2nd guessing about bringing my car…

Attraction intern for this summer here. I was wondering are they typically flexible in allowing you to do more than just ride ups and the “typical full time people stuff” or do they tend to let you branch out. I was hoping to learn more of the ends and outs of what management does and learn for a career in that rather than just ride ops.

There should be a attraction instead of dinosaur that you need to go on and as you can’t get back you exit in a small camp that is dinoland

The Pigeon Forge Beyond the Lens location used to a be a weird blend of family-friendly activities and true crime exhibits. Like, exhibits on the OJ case and JonBenet Ramsey.

As a Canadian (specifically Ontario) Clifton Hill at Niagara Falls will always be nostalgic to me. It’s so charmingly tacky. Nothing hits quite like a Burger King with a giant Frankenstein and a roller coaster on the roof.

Ahhh, I went to ripleys in Pigeon Forge and the wax figures freaked me out so much. I was 20, so I don’t even have the excuse of being a kid. I was always used to to tourist traps in Pegoen Forge and I remember being so confused when I saw things like wonderworks in other places. Also, touching on beyond the lens, when it opened up because of some of the distasteful news stories, like child abuse.

Great work! Wish you luck. Have you considered a chest strap for you to film the visits hands free while you still have fun? Would love to be able to see the stuff you describe
