What was the part numbers on the front and rear Tekno springs
You need race batteries
Very nice video, I have the losi to.
Hey brother! When you say wash your bearings whatcha mean? Which ones do you service after running? Want to get into RC (again) and the small details are wigging me out 😅 want to get a rig that is capable at the track in a relatively stock form(tires.. shocks.. etc) and I think the losi is it.. open box special on it for 511$😃
The car is intended for two 2S shorty batteries in series, which is how it is on the 8X 2.0 kit. there are other velcro straps, shorter ones for the shorty setup, longer ones for a 4s brick pack. there is also an LCG 4s brick pack available that allows the body to sit lower. The reason they designed it around two 2s shorty packs was for weight distribution and center of gravity. Also, highly recommend not using soft case lipos in a car like this as it is a huge risk for potential fire.
I have mine on, 10000front, 4000back and 1000000centerdiff, dampers front 45, rear 37,5.
They should do a class with electric and nitro.
When we gonna get more 8th scale vids man?? You got me so hyped i bought a used mugen mbx8 eco 😂 1/8 > 1/10 scale
You need to bleed your shocks before your complete your shock build. The way you built them is going to feel way worse than before
Your rear diff should always be lighter then the center and front. Put 5k in the rear. 10-10--6
Cool video, nice work!
A very well made video, the most comprehensive I could find is greatly appreciated. Looks like ide better do the diffs after watching this. Thanks for the tutorial!!
Where is that track?
@@chuckhoward3626 LRC Raceway in Longmont Colorado
@@Ready2RaceRC-s2z I spent some time at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden - it looked like pretty country. I reckon you can fly fish too...
Cool video. Great personality for RUclips. Though this is not how you rebuild diff fluids or shocks. The diff outdrives and poring seals need to be cleaned and relubed. I recommend watching Adam drakes videos on how to rebuild diffs. He is really informative and a great job of explaining things in plain terms. Also you need to put the battery in when setting ride height.
I think it’s a pretty cool rtr race basher with strong emphasis on basher. Great if you’re not sure you really want to get into racing but want to try it. It’s competitive in the club racing scene since most beginners in that science are hitting pipes, running into other drivers and learning how to drive. If you really like it I would recommend getting a true racing kit with a legit radio, batteries and electronics. Just sell the rtr. Not worth upgrading it to race quality.
"Easy acess" diff all you do is remove 9 screws 2 nuts take the bumper off pry the sway bar out remove tje a arms and voila after 20 mins the diff is out 😂😂😂😂

Maybe $800 worth of Rc stuff for me yearly
Hi Neil I'm from the UK and started racing 1/10 2wd and 1/8 scale as well at about the same time as yourself, your videos are Great to watch thanks mate
@@user-ry1jm9hw6w Thanks so much for this comment. Glad to hear we are on this journey at same time. Will be documenting some fun stuff soon. Good luck out there! 🏁
@@Ready2RaceRC-s2z thanks mate good luck to you too
Absolutely cool that your lady is out there with you. Still trying to get mine out the track.....
You seem like a great guy - wifey is lucky to have you! She’s probably the finest looking in RC ☺️😅 thanks for all tips - I’m likely getting this car. 😎
Front diff 10000 center diff 100000 rear diff 10000.
I have in the center diff 100000 oil.
When you put like diff 2000 or 10000 in the front and rear diff what’s the difference and what happens then?
@@JVGmidi to my understanding this determines the traction level. Because these cars are all wheel, drive, the thicker, the differential oil the slower that differential will begin to spin in relation to the others that may have a lighter weight. So if your rear end has a lighter weight, the torque and wheel rotation will begin in the rear and slowly work its way to the front.
@@Ready2RaceRC-s2z when you put thin oil in the centerdiff the front tyres turn much to fast, the car is mostly accalerating on the back wheels to thin oil means less powe or the back and the front is going much to fast and doing nothing.
Hi great video you mentioned front diff was 10k did you use the same for center and rear too? 😅
@@tukibird I did. The team driver suggested either 10-10-10 or 10-10-7. I went with 10-10-10 (front-center-rear) and thanks!
Engines are gas.. motors are electric!
@@BigDsRc517 😂 I always make this mistake and someone corrects me. Someday I’ll remember
LOL FACTS! 😂
material of hubs ? no 7075 here for 650 euros.......😢
Not sure where you got your info on diff fluids but for me I always have a highest fluid in the center then a slight lower in front with the rear having the lowest so an example is 7 for front 10 for center and 3 for rear. Having lighter fluid in the front causes "diff out" around turns. Just a thought.
@@speedgears1236 I agree as I’ve heard this more commonly. The racer who recommended this was a team Losi driver so I figured give it a shot. He did say 10-10-10 or 10-10-7.
I have been eyeing the truggy. Don't give up on the nitro. For me nitro is funner. Chasing the perfect tune and the smell and noise can't be beat. Cool video thanks
@@speedgears1236 The Truggy is pretty sick. Yeah I Love my Nitro I just never run it. I think next season will be more nitro for sure. And thx man! 🏁🤙🏻

@@MrPillwoe 😂😂
All that upgraded stuff. Is overkill.. they ain’t pros..hilarious
Just guys enjoying their hobby to the fullest and trying to race the best they can. Not sure how to interpret this comment.
I mean half the fun of the hobby are the hop ups, right? I love to tinker with my cars, so I totally get it.
For a track this small and low grip all of those upgrades are very necessary to keep weight down especially in the 21.5 wheeler class. They are just having fun.
@@saga420nbk you should see my son's car lol. Has every hopup known to man on it.
You are kinda right @saga420nbk we aren’t pros and some of these parts aren’t needed. But we do race with sponsored drivers all the time and they run most of the same parts we do. Just curious, where’s your local track? Do you go to any of the bigger races like JConcepts Indoor National Series races?
Pretty cool. In your description you should link the cars and also the tracks you’re visiting. It would be helpful for viewers…like me 😂
Thanks! All links added!
@@Ready2RaceRC-s2zThanks. Subbed.
Not uaual to put the same diffoil in all the 3 diffs. Normaly for dirt and low traction tracks is about 10k front / 10m / 7k back, for verry low grip about 7 / 7 / 5 Also, don,t full fill the diffs like you did. The oil will expend when you drive the car. Fill oil till the little planet gears are covered (about 80% of the diff case)
Just ordered my 8th scale! Can’t wait to whip it around the track. Currently competing in the mini b off-road scene at my local track. Lots of fun and great community.
@@Blackjag90 The Hype! I wish we had a mini b class at my local track. Been super into 10th scale lately. Love them both for all different reasons. 🏁
Dude- I love the placement of your bomb. 😂
@@kevinellerbroek1812 😂 I was trying to make a not so epic moment much more epic lol
I guess this track is better than nothing.
@@acceler8n True. And new layout every week makes it nice.
That looks like wood. If so, it seems that non treaded tires would do better.
@@troysawyers9781 Yeah they are a thin wood board. You think so? I will absolutely give it a shot. Thx for the tip.
@@Ready2RaceRC-s2z surprisingly balds do not work well at all on this track we usually run elipses or bar codes.
That may the most unique track surface/layout combo ever! 😮
What are you racing on? Wood boards.?
@@saga420nbk Yeah wood boards, best way I could describe it would be almost a wooden cork board type material. They place ramps and objects underneath to create the elevated turns and jumps. It’s a lot more fun than I expected and the traction on them is a tricky variable. Starts great after saucing tires but within a 6 minute main you lose quite a bit.
Where are you located that you have all these awesome looking tracks local to you?
@@sterling1395 Haha I’m located in northern Colorado. Happy with all the tracks near me and towards Denver. But I mean.. there could always be more lol
