This is just what I was looking for! I do have a question though - does it not distort the pattern to take width away from the center line further down the bodice? Like, does it not make it tighter in the bust/waist, etc? Or is this just the dart space being rearranged? Sorry for such an ignorant question.

Please does it have to be one three quarter to 2 inch at most? The distance from the hip to the crotch extension,I tried this but mine was about 2and three quarter inch

Thank you so much for this awesome and well detailed tutorial. I drafted mine by doing it step by step with you but in the end, instead of my back crotch being shorter like yours, mine was longer by 1.5inch. In order to get the actual back crotch, I slash open my crotch balancing line and measure 1.5inches and fold it in by making it to lost as I get closer to the end of the side slash and tape it down, after that I remeasure and adjusted the crotch. Pls was this the right way to go about adjusting the crotch in a case where it’s is longer than? I’ll be grateful to see your reply on this 🙏🏾
