I’m just now seeing this in 2024. So sorry for your loss. I’m 58, My mother passed 33 years ago and it still feels like yesterday. I can even tell you what I was wearing, and that whole day. You just never forget it. Sometimes you still cry and sometimes you have more courage. I think what hurts now is all the family members I have lost and the few of us that remain. Somehow, we’re the older generation and it’s scary sometimes. Knowing I’m closer to my finality than ever before but also appreciating the life I have. It’s not glamorous but blessed. My peace and comfort come from God, He is my only hope. live your life well, your mother is very proud and watching over you. Don’t blame yourself or have regrets over what you did or did not do. She understands and wouldn’t want you to worry about those things now. Just know she loves you….and smile. Thank you for sharing such a private part of your life. God bless you!

Yes, this is a late comment, but- I lost my mom when I was 14 almost 15. And I hate it. She told me "i love you" but I never said it back because we were mad at each other. she died two days later. I beat myself up for it to this day, and it's been a while. it always hurts, and people saying "it'll get better" when it doesn't and hasn't for me. it's unfortunate. but just know you're not alone.

Am sorry for your pain. I understand. I personaly lost my mom when i was 18 and my father at 33. I still feel the pain to this day. I want to tell my story too because when my mom died, first thing is that my relatives took us to the CID accusing us(my dad) of being a devil worshipper and killing my mom
