Change the timing belt! They are notorious for going out between 100K to 120K miles, and if they do it trashes the cylinder heads, which is a $2500+ repair. A broken timing belt is what killed my beloved 2003 300M Special. When the main wiring harness was disconnected for the post-timing belt fail cylinder head rebuild, the insulation on the wiring cracked real bad and caused so many problems that I had to get rid of it.

Trick to starting up rotaries I naturally picked up in my '78 RX-7 (20+ years ago), tested on a few other rotors: - Let the fuel pump run for about 5 seconds, then tap the gas pedal lightly (about 20% down) a few times. - Crank it while slowly and gradually pressing down on the accelerator. It will start up every time. If you've been driving, come to a stop and it's idling high, give it a healthy rev to bring the RPM back down.

People don't know whats good for them, they want what they are told is cool, so the demand is flawed by itself and offer is based on that. The value of a car is how it is safe/reliable, how cheap & easy it is to fix, and how much you like it. Nothing else

There's a good chance that gauge cluster was designed on short notice in PowerPoint 2000 (Times New Roman)... it has an interesting, minimalist aesthetic that's making its best effort to be more "fancy" compared to the more utilitarian units found in lesser models
