Hello I have a OMP 2 how do you stop the Heli flying so high ? with mine the Heli seems to go high so I cannot se it !!! I want to have fly like yours at a lower level ,when I reduce the throttle it just wants to land .Thanks

I just setup another Goblin 380 with the CGY 755 . I put a Xnova motor in spooled it not even 3 seconds smoked . Called Heli Direct I told them what happen. They said my fault . You should never spool up your helicopter with the rotor blades your burn up the motor .

I'm currently in the Process of Learning Inverted Piro's and Inverted Circuits ( with my smaller Blade Nano S3 and BL2 ) can do such easily on my Sim, but in IRL - well, that's a different matter! ( Emotional attachment factor with the Real Helicopter, I believe, gets in the way )

I just got back into flying afte. 12 year break . Had to get a new radio went with the 16IZ . And the ikon2 a friend of mine gave me the 380 buddy . What a nice flying helicopter. Vs the old school shuttle I few for years . And all my test flying I done in my back yard. BTW AJ i been following your setup and it’s been a big help thank you .

They can definitely get SQUIRRELY, make sure you Add Expo like 25-30% to your Aeliron/elevator and drop your rates to like 85-90. Most of the guys you see throwing these little guys around like the M1 and the Goosky S1 are running 40% EXPO. 👍🏼👍🏼 By the way, NICE to see you back.

AJ - did you ever make a video on the settings in your 760r you adjusted to make your Raw 700 a little tamer? I’m assuming you made them in the “flight tune” section in the gyro settings page. I am also using the Futaba 16iz/760r. What are you using for your gyro 1 (rudder) gains and your gyro 2 (aileron) gains? Thx!

Wis they still made this MODEL, to me it is the PERFECT size and very well BUILT. 420 is sweet but a bit too big for the small area i fly.

Hi A J I have a question. I have the Goblin 380 . Using the futaba 16IZ. With R3008sb my ESC is ZTW skyhawk 125 . And the ikon2 . Trying to use the telemetry with ikon2 I have the ikon2 in the sbus 2 port . My esc is a ZTW not sure if your familiar with it . And did you do a part 2 of the setup thank you

Hi brother, got your info from someone I bought a goblin 380 from. My first time setting up a helicopter and managed to get the swash setup and everything seems ready to go except when I spool up the tail starts going crazy. I am running the mini Kbar 3 axis and was wondering if I could have some help on how to make sure it is proper so that I can have a successful hover, thanks!

Hey AJ - timely! Yes to the video please. I use Heli-X but not yet set up my TM16IZ - same as yours so yes please!

Love your flying style! I'm a strictly 6G flier and I get all the satisfaction I need doing fast flybys and figure 8 circuits, etc, from my front yard and up and down my neighborhood street. The M1 and M1 evo, in my opinion, are the best micro helis money can buy!

Well said AJ. There are a couple of options I've covered including beacons and lights but ironically I prefer a similar tag system to your own. I use the 'Tile' system. It's excellent. Thankfully, I've not had to use it yet!

Does it work with quick sand? Are you flying, any new flying videos?

Great work AJ. Now I heard something, and I have yet to try it. I would try it on the sim first of course. I was told if you want to keep the piro flips on one spot, you need to cut down on the collective. So if you are drifting, it means you applied too much collective, that you need really very little. I guess it makes sense because I would think your two thumbs are trying to sync how much travel you use. You need to disconnect your left from right thumbs and give less collective. Again, just what I heard but passing that on. Keep going!
