Does acrylic become yellow from uv light over the years, or is that only an issue with aceylic made from the past?

I used the IM for about 2 years and noticed some rust coming from the inside magnet. Now I'm using the two little fishies veggie clip and the pocket feeder. Your tangs are looking fat and happy.
