If the screw can be removed without the solder breaking, then it's loose enough for the pliers to remove🤦🏻‍♂️

Good repair! 👍 Me, i would have used a pin that fit tightly and highest heat and lowest speed on the pen to ensure the filament would melt itself into the original plastic, much like welding 2 pieces of steel together. 👍

Try some pumice based paste cleaner in the screw head. It provides extra grip. Works every time.
