I miss the dismounts off the side of the beam. I remember Svetlana Khorkina pioneered that type of dismount and it just looks so elegant!

It's funny how stuck landings seem like a novelty these days... if you pick a major championship from the 80's to mid 90's there would be probably 56 stuck landing from each of those competitions alone.

It is important to put in perspective that many of the great gymnasts from the past literally are pulling off perfect double layouts, tumbling off of mats as flat as a pancake compared to gymnasts of today that have a far significant advantage tumbling off of spring loaded mats that are the thickness of 3 bed mattresses.

0:32 and 0:36 are impossible. At 0:32, she's in El grip going into a front giant and then she's magically in regular grip coming the other way? And then the exact same thing at 0:36.

Thank you for including an Aussie.. we may not get to Olympic podium, but our gymnasts are still talented and enjoyable to watch.
