Chinese leg lines cleanliness is simply another league✨✨✨. Even if they didn' t stick, the flight itself is bloody pleasurful to watch.

It really needed a devaluation, 0.8 above DTY was excessive, you could crash the vault and score the same as a regular DTY (like Jiang Yuyuan did in 2008 AA), around 2011-2012 the pressure to have it was imense, basically every top team was pressuring their gymnasts to get and land it. By the other hand, 0.4 was too low and basically killed the vault, specially with the stricter judging. The ones with enough power went for the Cheng, and even the greatest vaulters will avoid it whenever possible due to the low reward.
